Hey People :smile.gif:

I need a little help with some flames.
Can someone help me make the fire/flame in the Furnace and the normal fire to blue-ish color? I have made blue-ish fire for torch, so please use the same colors I have used.

The fire didn't turn out so well IMO, but I tried ^-^

edit1: I couldn't stick to the limited palette for the fire, sorry

edit: Just tested it, and it look good, but can you try to add the "glowing" effect like that one I posted got?

And a noob question, do I need to patch it to get/use the custom fire?

edit: Can you please to try to make a custom blue-ish lava texture too? :smile.gif:

edit: I have tried the patcher, but can't get the fire texture work that way either :dry.gif: any help with that?

Fire has to be animated in a file called "custom_fire.png". For a 16x16 texture pack, the file should be 16 pixels wide and any multiple of 16 pixels tall. Each frame of the animation takes up one 16x16 block, so frame one will be from 0-16 down, frame two will be from 16-32 down, etc.

Stack the frames on top of each other. Put this file in the standard directory alongside terrain.png, and run the HD patcher.

Okei, so I doo... ehh? Okei, thats just confused me :blink.gif: Can you please make me the "custom_fire.png" for me? So I can see it and learn it. I will give credit for it and :Diamond:'s :biggrin.gif:

A lot of texture packs have one. I know LB Photo Realism does, as well as my own DokiDoki pack. I recommend downloading one of those and simply having a look.

I did take a look at your DokiDoki pack (Nice pack btw), and I not so good to make something like that, while it should look good too. I just hope a kind person can be so awesome to make it to me.
