I'm working on modding a texture pack, and I can't figure out how to get the grass to stop wrapping around the side of the blocks. Here's a screenshot of what it's doing:
I want the grass blocks to look like the right side of the selected block, where the grass hangs over the edge, but you can see the dirt on the side. I do not want it to look like the left side where the grass goes all the way to the bottom.
I can't actually help you, but just wanted to say that I think it looks good as is! Means rolling green hills will actually -be- rolling green hills, as opposed to rolling green-and-brown-stripey hills...
Just saying. The rest of the texture pack looks pretty good too!
My guess is that you used MCPatcher to get hi-res TexPack compatibility, and when you ran MCPatcher you had BetterGrass selected. If you use MCPatcher, run it again but de-select BetterGrass
Ah! That was it... I did use the MC Patcher. Didn't realize that it affected the grass. Thanks for the help!
and by the way, I want to make sure I'm not taking credit for this texture pack. Very little of it is my own work. It's more of a Frankenstein of the pieces of other packs that I really liked. A majority of it is actually "Good Morning Craft" and "Nagareru". I only modified a few of the blocks with my own work. :smile.gif:
