Brand new update for our 1.8 and 1.9 prerelease users...
Brand new Stone bricks, NetherBrick, Netherwart, Giant Shrooms, Iron Gates, and a wicked new Spawner... (note to self, still need to practice drawing the skull again..
@ DB, I was thinking on that too... However I wanted to make sure I appealed to all possible audiences. I do agree though I given more love to the 64 as it's really the pack I can use without too* much problem.
I will however go through both of the lesser resolutions and see if I can solve their problems.
About the grass, I do agree it does tile awefully... I will have that fixed here soon :biggrin.gif:
About the glass you should have seen the old stuff X_X... Although I will be happy if someone develops a translucency mod... I had thought about it and believe it would be possible to have a translucent patch made using the original programming for the glass and just copy the opacity handling code for ice and insert it proper to the glass.
If it work I would see about plugging the same thing for the Glowstone, Obsidian (MMMMmmmmm... that would be nice), and perhaps leaves and doors too. I would then also try to plug it into some of the nasty mobs too >:biggrin.gif: (translucent creepers?).
However I suck at programming... so... I leave that to the masses to decide. If I think though It could be possible to have it incorporated with the texture pack depending on how minecraft would handle having the same classes in a texture pack zip... I dunno.
Sorry I've been away for a bit. I've come back with some more additions to this mild mannered texture pack.
So far got some more items sketched out, Be sure to give your comments about them.
Also I've added an Adcraft link to each of the pack sizes. If you want to try that one, feel free. Just hit the 'Download Mod' in green text after the timer hits zero.
-edit- Sorry if you just got one from a direct link about 30 minutes ago... you got the old one... I corrected that issue. Sorry again!
Added new Dirt/Sidegrass/Sidesnow and saved the old ones in a file noted as 'Terrainalt.png' in each zip
Added new Cobwebs and new potion stands. I also fixed the Mossy Cobblestone in x32 and x16 to be like the x64.
I'm a bit tired at the moment after cranking these out... I couldn't set up any cobwebs to show y'all.
A small update, although not so fresh from the canvas; Enchantment table's base. I'll also be unable to update as frequently until I can aquire a 'new' computer (I'd be happy with a p4 with a gig of ram right now XD) I have also placed a paypal donation link for those who might be kind enough to donate a buck or two towards this sole task. I will be more than honored to have your name placed in the OP. I will also be happy to take your request for anything you'd like painted for Minecraft or even just for yourself (I'm pretty decent at portaiture with good reference).
hello kind sir, sorry if this review took all the way until now i thought i would have it ready for sunday but x-mas preparations got in the way so sorry again but here is your review, i really love the texture pack and left my vote on your poll hope you enjoy and that it helps you get more downloads :3
Woooooowwww!!!! over 250 downloads of this pack over the course of a month! I'm very happy :biggrin.gif:
I really wanted to thank you again Dyz, lots of what you noted has been fixed and a few more features developed with the advancements with MCPatcher.
I would have some pics but I don't have ready access to a good pc that can handle the game. (even with a x2 pack)
What just happened with the new update is hidden with the spoiler, also is on the op so don't read if you have already.
Chromatose Update for 1/22/12
Changed all Iron, Gold, and Diamond Blocks with alternate texture. Old textures are in the Alt Texture png.
Fixed White the Fog of Death on all versions. Have fun with Short render distance again! There might also be some loose pixels but the majority should be a whole lot better for everyone :biggrin.gif:
Added Terrain's Eye of Ender for the pedistal.
Augmented torches to have a few less static flame pixels.
Modified experimental animated Diamond Texture with more frames, this will change with the next update to make use of the properties function in MCPatcher
All Custom Colors for Biomes are now in full use, All leaves and tall grass are now biome compatable. Will be worked on further once a computer is available that I can use for examining the results. But this all includes, Grass, Foliage, Birch, Pine, Water, Sky, Fog, and Underwater
Custom still water has been roughly drafted but will end up changing with this new development in MCPatcher
Fixed an error with Spiderwebs in x64, it had the x32 version in it's place.
Removed black border from the spawner.
Added New Diamond Axe and used the old one for a diamond pickaxe.
Added Wooden and Stone hoes.
Created New Creeper, this is just the first kind of creeper I want to have, there are 4 other color variants.
Created New Slime, this like the creeper is the first kind, with two more color variants.
Added place holders for 1.1.0's Spawner Egg, and 1.2.0's Jungle Terrain Things
First thing though I changed my download source to dropbox as I'm hoping to make things more dynamic. This way more updates, more relivent. The URL is going to be the same until the next major revision but I'll probably try to keep up on the terrain as...
Second... I finally got everything roughed out and current with the Terrain.png. The Jungle trees, Leaves and Sapplings are in order. Redstone Lamps, and the Stonebrick "circle" thing (I just did a simple brick design in a circular format... Might pull something else off with it.)
Also there is a new mob... Have fun with three variants of Ghast.
I've also got the small chest redone. I think I might have to be careful of the pixels...
Also I found out the download link was ruined by my stupidity last time, so I have everything set back up and going. Just gotta remember to copy rather than drag and drop XD

But a good taste of new dirt might be enticing.
