I use paint.net, I was wondering how I edit and find the files?
Thanks anyway... I do a bad job explaining somtimes.
you can open up the minecraft.jar hiding in your %appdata% folders and dig around for the terrain.png and stuff, but I think it's a lot easier to download a texture pack right off of the forum, unzip it, and redraw all the textures. Just be sure to redraw all of them, so you're not stealing anyone's work.
