I particularly was fond of that texture and it took me a while to fix it to look right in Minecraft. I might add some windows or delete the X's to give it a bit of uniqueness from whatever pack that is. Maybe recolor it to a blackened iron lool even. :biggrin.gif:

Doh! You totally read my mind! I saw the most WICKED door knocker last night somewhere while searching for inspiration and thought "some friggin' sweet door knockers would rock". Totally doing that!
The screenshot list is getting fugly long, I'm going to reorganize it and take some new screenshots of all the blocks together now that I have enough. Until then, I will post new screenshots as replies to keep the OP from looking too cluttered.

I finished all of the material blocks (diamond, gold, iron, and lapis). I also redid the Iron Ore. I think I'm happier with it, but I'm still not entirely happy. I have to give myself breaks in between tries though, or I'll kick the screen out of frustration. >_< So, that's that for now.
I also finished the wool (which was a welcomed easy task), the sandstone, and the clay. For some reason I forgot a picture of the clay so I'll update with that later.
AND I was able to tidy up the OP. (Beams with pride) I was so productive today!
mossy cobble - looking great now, I really like it. not much more I can add to that I dont think, it tiles well, suits your style, I think a well done is in order (I would still love to see your take on a decorative type block for it though haha)
solid ore blocks -I love the Iron and gold blocks, they look great, I would say the gold looks a little washed out? check it against the colour of what you mine out and you will see what I mean. The diamond and and lapiz blocks seem awful boring for you. It would be nice to see something really decorative and nice from these blocks, you have great artistic talent, FLAUNT IT! (john smith had a gold block in 7.2 I think that had carvings and decorations in it, I can send it to you for inspiration if you like)
bedrock - love it, enough said, the wavy look is brilliant, well done.
mob spawner - its cool, i like how its red hot at the top, but i think bars is a little boring, search wrought iron in google images and I think some of those detailings could really excel this great design.
new doors - the wood door is PERFECT! wow I love it. people might not like the lack of a window but I dont care, its amazing! The Iron door looks good now, its still missing, something, I'm not sure. if it stays like that then its still fantastic.
soul sand - nailed it. well done.
sand stone - can't really get a good look at it yet from those screens but it's looking like it will be great.

You know you may be right about the lapis and the diamond. It does feel boring! I'm not really sure what to do about tha lapis though. o_O I looked on Google Images and the only thing they had was teensy bits of the stuff. It's pretty and all that, but it comes in chunks that are butt ugly imo lol! I'll give it another look over and see if I can't incorporate some sort of fancy design in the very least. Same for the diamond!
As far as the decorative mossy cobble goes, I did LOVE Dokucraft's weird...squareish design thingie mabobber that he had. Totally rocked my world! I might try something like that sometime...it's a little intimidating for some reason though, heh.
The mob spawner! Yay! I went through about 10 different designs for that friggin thing. I hate working with transparency in this game. It's so ... different. I'll check out what it looks like sans bars.

It's looking great so far. I'm checking in on this frequently to see how it's coming. I really like the Soulsand, I think it allows it to look good in more situations when it's a swampy mud-like thing. Like my jungle arena I made.

I've spent this time creating a NEW Mob Spawner, though. Teehee, I get so many ideas and I end up making a zillion things. So hard to choose which one to implement! BUT, I really love this version of my Mob Spawner so I think that this'll be the one that makes it in!

I have also finished touching up the diamond and the lapis lazuli. I'm pretty pleased with how they came out, but I may add a bit extra to the corners of the diamond. They look sort of drab. D:

Edit: I'd also like to add that I decided to work on water some more. I made the texture and tiled it and all that to make it flow, loaded it up in Minecraft and...it's flowing backwards (uphill). God I hate water texture.

Ore blocks look much better! I do think that, as you said, the diamond needs something extra on the corners... Maybe metal instead of black?
It actally is a darkish metal (think of black iron) but I can definitely see how it's too dark. I may tone it down a bit to a brass or something. :biggrin.gif: Thanks for the idea!
