I'm not too worried about having any trouble installing it. I just didn't see a changelog and the ruston 1.7 and 1.8 looked similar to me when compared to each other. My only complaint is I have to fix the water again but that doesn't take too long.
ah ok, but i dont think the water problem pertains to us because we didn't do anything to the water textures :tongue.gif:

The PNG file I always get has green water because the green checkerboard has full opacity. So I just have to replace the water on the terrain.png with water from another pack. I also replaced the cloud file with an older ruston cloud file and found that it gave me overcast skies (which I like).
As for the actual look of the blocks I like everything besides coal and the actual grass. The coal looks smudgy and not as defined the other minerals like iron. The actual grass looks too textured and kind of meshes with the actual dirt and doesn't look smooth enough. Other then that I really like the pack. Its a nice default styled pack that isn't just a simple edit of the original. Not a lot of packs do this besides Quandry and its nice to have an alternative to that.

I really have nothing to say this pack is amazing. I spent an entire minecraft day and night looking for something I didn't like and found nothing bad. The only thing I would change change is the grass(not the kind on dirt) it was kinda dull. I haven't seen the updated zombies with the brains and everything but I was thinking they should look sorta like the default player after he was mauled by zombies and eaten part way. This is just my opinion which isn't worth a whole lot. But this Texture pack is AWESOME!!!!

I am in the process of editing the coal and grass to blend and look crisper. Thanks for the suggestion :smile.gif:
You seem to have moved the terrain png up so some of the textures are mixing.
