These are really great. I really do love the chest; even with the blockiness of minecraft, it fits in perfectly and doesn't seem at all forced to be square/rectangular.
Also, for multiple windows in a single block, I can probably do that. Maybe something along the lines of Punch-a-picture to change them (Crouch+click to cycle through).

You'll probably have more luck than me, this Java stuff is difficult, and I haven't even explored modLoader yet.

That sounds great, Valas. And would it allow more than one style of window to be visible at the same time?
The second stone looks the best to me, too.
cobblestone doesnt tile so well though, you can easily see the individual blocks. try to make some stones 'half' and continue it on the other side of the block, so you wont see where the block ends and where it starts, if you know what i mean. good texturing, though :tongue.gif:

I started off doing half on the sides but it looked a bit weird in my test world.
And real world cobblestone often has more defined edges.
But I'll do an alternate as well.
Thanks for the input, Mike :smile.gif:
I agree that the cobblestone could be better, I'm not a fan of the individuality of each block, but I understand your argument, though and alternative would be nice. The stone looks great, I also prefer the second. Good job.
The new cobblestone looks great! I'm really liking what you're doing - but I'm just not feeling it with any of the current smooth stone options. The first two look too much like gravel and the third looks too much like cobblestone covered in stucco.

I know what you mean about the stone textures. I really like the second one but it does look more like gravel.
I've just added a new stone texture. How's that look?
The new stone looks more like what I'd imagined, but it does tile a little. Definitely a big move in the right direction though!
The lamp is nice but for some reason the game renders it very wide. Might have to do with how it makes a 2-dimensional image look like a 3-D object.

Cool! I'm glad you like it.

I really hope someone makes a mod for it :>

Thanks to MikeJones and ManxAndrew for the input.
It does look better :smile.gif:

What do you think of the lamp? I reckon it looks a little weird but good from some directions.

I thinks it's just wide on the side of the screenshot because of the view distortion.
Here's some shots straight on and from the side.
