This is AMAZING! I absolutely love your work on this so far. Can't wait to see your interpretation of a few more things, like the Ender Chest, and melons (those pumpkins make me reeeeeeally concerned about eating them - Love those too !)
Keep up the awesome work. Got a few friends and family I'll be telling about this texture pack!

Not sure about my possible End Stone texture
I was going for a non-cobbly, worn-smooth-marble look.
I haven't been to The End yet, but I suspect it will be a slightly different colour there.
But, still...
Anyone care to comment?
Thanks, AgentRenamon
I ended up ditching that one and making another End Stone (edit: back here) that I like more. Hope you do, too!
Here's some carpet I'm working on for MC 1.6...
Looks good; Odviously, you put a lot of effort into making sure the Connected Textures looked good even at weird angles...
As for the End Stone, it looks nice, though I've always thought of the stuff as an ethereal, organic matter unique to the End Dimension. Kinda like a otherworldly moon rock; but that's just me....
A new IC2 addon you might want to look at is the Extra Utilities Mod, which adds a ton of useful stuff including a table which slowly spawns Mob Drops into a chest while your Difficulty is set to Peaceful, as well as a BUD Switch block that won't trigger on itself. Well worth looking at if you like IC2....

Thanks for bringing Extra Utilities to my attention!
Lots of interesting and useful stuff in there (btw, it's not an ic2 addon)

My bad on the IC2; Odviously I had something else on my mind at the time, .... like the Peaceful Table? Wither Skulls without the hassle of killing the mobs: Priceless!
And you might want to check out "Cogs of the machine", a mod that use clockworks to power machines in a fashion similar to Better Than Wolves but is actually a Forge Mod....
Hi there, gotta say this is one of my all time favourite texture packs. I am actually currently using it in a build of mine that I hope to turn into an adventure map soon, so with your permission, I would like to use this pack as the recommended one. Also, something minor that caught my eye, the doors are a little odd. When you place them at the back of the block and open them, you can see the door handle texture on the corners. Not sure if you meant this to be a latch of some kind, but it looks exactly like the door handle, keyhole and all. Just thought I would point that out to you. Great work all around. =)
I saw that you were asking about some of the vanilla textures, I would suggest working on some of the items soon. The blaze rod is what I am using as a weapon in the map of mine, cause it looks like a rusted iron rod, and I like that. One thing I would ask is that you be careful as to how you do the weapons. I saw some really amazing packs get ruined because the weapons turned into something completely different. The silent hills pack is the best example, the iron sword is textured as a mace and I think the gold one is a golf club... So... kills the feel of it for me... But it is your pack, I just hope you don't wind up going that way with it...
How the work is going?
And about the vanilla stuff?
Hi qwerty
The only stuff recently is the connected carpets for MC1.6 and snapshots like 13w19a. Also, wheat block. Haven't released these, yet. Not much else, unfortunately. Some RL challenges have kept me away. And my hand trouble has resurfaced. Great fun

And, I'm happy for you to recommend Battered Old Stuff for your adventure map.

I think what you are describing is the way MC handles the door edge texture. It just uses part of the front of the door. If it's something else, could you post a pic?

Yeah, I can post a pic for you. Also, the Trapped Chests are untextured. They look like the normal chests in hand and menu, but when placed, they look like default. And it is a stunning pack, I am about to post some screenshots of my adventure map soon, I'll add a link for it when I post the image of the door.

And, I'd forgotten about Trapped Chests. I'll get on to that!
The screenshot of the door:
The doors are both closed.
When you open them, this happens on the side panels. It happens only sometimes, and I cant figure out what stops it from happening. In the map, only 1/3 of the doors do it, but when I am just playing around, they all do it. So maybe it is something to do with the materials around it? Doubt it, but it's a thought.

Unfortunately, that's just how Minecraft textures the doors. It uses part of the front to texture the sides. Sometimes part of the left side, sometimes part of the right side.
I've tired to fix it with connected textures, but, that don't work either.
I could move the door handle 10 or so pixels closer to the center but that would look weird.
(edit) Just had a look at the screenshots of your map. 120 rooms?! Looks great. Love the feel.

Well, it looks good anyway, just something I figured I would point out just in case.
Thanks. 120 rooms all together in just that building. Im building the shell first then going through and adding in the details such as locked doors here and hidden things there. For now, I just want to get the building done before I fine-tune anything. There will be two other buildings in the map as well, maybe three. An office building, a small Hospital, or clinic, and maybe a Library. The feel of it is supposed to be a small urban area that has become abandoned. As for the story, I am still working on that part. Lol.
Minecraft 1.5 or later...
- added textures for Trapped Chests
- tweaked textures for Chests
- added connected textures for White Carpet (for snapshots 13w16a and later)
- added textures for Hay Block (for snapshots 13w16a and later)
Also, the Swampland door and window textures should now work with both MCPatcher and Optifine (D1,D2 Ultra).

The links that say For Minecraft version 1.5+ are for Minecraft 1.5 and above. So, that means 1.5.1, too.
