Is there a chiseled basalt and basalt paver texture in the works? Did I download the wrong version?
Hey, TaeoG
You have the right version. I've just been a bit neglectful of the less "fun" blocks.
But, I appreciate the nudge!
How do these look? I'll probably replace the basalt brick, too.
Redpower...
- added textures for Basalt Pavers and Chiselled Basalt. Thanks for the nudge, TaeoG
- new textures for Basalt Bricks and Basalt Cobblestone
These should fit in much better with the other cobblestone, sandstone etc blocks
Railcraft...
- changed Signal Box textures to suit 6.16 changes
ComputerCraft...
- added support for ComputerCraft 1.5
- added texture for Crafty side of Turtle
- slightly less rusty frames on the Computer and Disk Drive textures
- fixed Modem texture and missing (default) Monitor front texture

Yep! its blocked as "social media" or some garbage.
I quite like the new basalt, its less purple. Everything else fits in pretty well.
Is there any alternate texture for glass or doors? Its kinda strange to have glass tanks and towers and fortress doors that look like they were made from pieces of a hundred year old house. I tried to mix and match with other textures I like, but you're the only one who seems to have the dedication to get all the connected textures and such working. I was thinking just having a much narrower frame, chipped glass, without the cross supports in the center. On 2x2 or larger connected panes of glass there could be a big crack or something. It would fit in really well with the old beat up look without making water tanks and such look silly. Just an idea.

I'll add the glass idea and alternate doors to the todo list. You could try copying ctm2.png over the ctm.png file. Then it will use the ceiling variation of the windows. It would look a lot better in those situations. Not quite what you're after but may do for now.
You know what... I'm not sure I want that to change after all. Sure a beat up old fallout-style door looks silly as the main entrance to a fortress, but thats what complicated piston/frame setups are for anyway. How does the randomized texture feature work? Is it possible on doors? Would a block retain its version of the texture or does it change every time its loaded? I'm just wondering if it would be possible to have random textures of a door that you could cycle through when you place it down, kinda like a painting, so if I wanted a door that had a little more glass left in it or something I could get it and it would stay that way.
Also, I noticed that the texture for the inside of a door changes when its opened and closed. Changes shade, anyway. Is that intentional? I can provide a screenshot if you're not following.
And I'll look into the other glass ctm, see if I like it better. Thanks for being so responsive.
EDIT: Id love an old, beat up screen door to put in my swamp shacks, if we can pull off the random door thing.

Currently, the doors have 2 possible textures. They are set to repeat (so, alternate) but stay the same for the same X,Z coordinates. So, destroying and replacing, or reloading doesn't change them. However, they are always different on opposite sides. I've told connected textures that they should be the same on both sides, but it doesn't listen. That's using Optifine. Maybe it's okay under McPatcher. Opening and closing will often switch the textures depending on the hinge side and compass orientation.
With random, the texture would be chosen based on X,Y,Z coordinates. However, sometimes the top and bottom are different. Not so great. But, opposite sides have the same texture. And, once again, destroying and replacing, or reloading doesn't change them. Placing from N,S,E or W at the same X,Y,Z gets the same texture. But, with random, opening and closing doesn't change them.
So, maybe more pluses with random. But, having different tops and bottoms about 25% of the time is a big minus. At least, to me.
To have the cycling of a door thingy you'd need a mod. A pretty simple one, though. And the recipe could just be putting the door back in the grid. And, like you said, have it set to work like paintings. Up to 255 textures would be possible, I think.
Alternatively, the recipe could be a shaped recipe of a door with, say, 1 planks. And depending on the positions you'd get a different style. That would allow 72 possible styles. Plenty. And make crafting a matching set of doors very easy. (actually, probably more like 64.. still plenty). (edit: hmm.. less than 64.. maybe 24? still lots)
Valas was working on a MultiBlocks mod to use with Battered that worked in kinda the same way with regular blocks and glass. But, hit it with a stone sword to change it. I think I prefer the shaped recipe idea. Not sure how Multiblocks would have worked with doors, though. We haven't communicated since late July and he hasn't been online since early December. Be good to revisit it, though. Then we could get you that beat up screen door
Hey..what the next vanilla texture changes?
I'm curious...
Oops. I forgot to post my reply when I answered this yesterday :/
I've been fiddling with a better texture for oak leaves and making one for pine leaves (currently default).
But, probably the Anvil will be the next vanilla change. Not sure when.
Railcraft...
- added textures for Limiter Track, Locomotive Track, Whistle Track and Locomotive Detector
Minecraft...
- new texture for the Mine Cart. Try it out and let me know if you hate it
- added another Creeper variation

Thank you, Meeparoo. I appreciate your opinion. For me, uniqueness is paramount.

awesome, I'll check it out when I get home. Whatever site you use for hosting your pics is blocked at my work
Really? It's imgur.com.

ozBillo, any idea when you'll have a villager skin, or am I completely blind? Just asking since this is my favorite texture pack....
I'll add it to my todo list. Not sure when I'll slot it in, though.
Excellent

What style of door were you thinking of?
No villager skin, yet. But, I'll add it to my todo list
And, thank you for the support
