I had a look at Nether Ores last August for ObsidianDarkness.
Probably time to revisit them and add them to the pack.
And I'm really glad you're enjoying the new-look nether

Yeah. I had a look and it is still wrong in the 1-Feb version. I only fixed it in my dev version.
Sorry about that.
MineCraft changed the zombie layout at some point and Optifine tries to correct it on the fly. Not always successfully, it appears.
I'll do an update for it. Maybe today.

Just a minor quick update...
- fixed the Zombie texture. It was looking strange, sometimes. Some would say, all the time

ozBillo, has the Enchanted Book item been fixed? I have a couple, but no item displays. I checked the items.png file; but there's nothing where it should be. Please fix?

Downloaded it, and it looks good! The banding was actually something I was trying to temp-patch into the not-fixed version I was using...

BTW, just an bit of hopefully helpful observation: The PC game Dishonored has a similar visual "feel" as this texture pack, a worn-down, Victorian look with some elements of equally beat-down SteamPunk. I'm not sure what your plans are for future additions, but it might give you some ideas? Dishonored even has a mystical system using charms and talismans that reflect such Mods are Thaumcraft and Equivalent Exchange....
