Just downloaded and started tinkering with the technic mod pack launcher thingy and I noticed that one of the mods is the redstone one you and I had discussed earlier. Now I HAVE to download this pack.

Here's a texture.png with the new Netherrack in it.
You can use it until the next pack update.
It's also got the new lava in it.
Make sure you rename it to texture.png after saving it!
Loving the new netherrack. The old one seriously messed with my depth perception, maybe the new one won't be as bad (it might be because of the constant light level though). Lava looks good too, though I've gotten used to animated lava textures.
Any word on the potential for an Iron Golem skin that look sufficiently old and rusted? I have yet to find an Iron Golem in any texture pack that fits in with Battered Old Stuff. Really, I don't care for most of the Iron Golem skins in my favorite TPs, and have been using one that is a bit comic-bookish even though the style is off.
Oh, I got a very special request. Could you make the normal cobble and mossy cobble more same? Now if I put a randomly placed mossy cobble, it just doesn't fit in. (And I actually love the texture of the mossy cobble of yours. )

I traveled to Chichen Itza and climbed El Castillo to craft my first Iron Golem.
I don't understand why the default skin is so pale... I mean, he's an iron golem right? ... you should also eliminate his nose, make it transparent or something

Tweaks to newer RedPower textures.
The netherrack texture was a quickie. I don't like it much, either

MUCH better. It really surprised me when I saw that other netherrack. All the rest of your textures tile beautifully.
