Thank you, Cupcakes :smile.gif:
I'm sorry I didn't show it to you first. Please accept my apology :wink.gif:
So, should I make a "Shiny New Stuff" pack as well?
Strong work deserves strong support - You sir, create strong material.
Any chance we can get some Nether Upgrades? It's a little disjointing ATM when I travel to the Nether and I'm greeted by 16x16 Graphics after the beauty of the Mortal Realm
Ahhh... see, I rarely leave the Mortal Realm. As a result, the Nether textures have been neglected.
I have made the first stumbling attempts at a soul sand texture.
But, with the Nether stuff, I haven't had that lightbulb over my head light up when I look at them in PaintShop Pro.
I need to spend more time in that Chaotic Realm and just let it soak in. That means I'd need to stay alive for longer than 5 seconds. I'd better suit up!
I agree that the Tiffany/Wright style works better for a redstone lamp than as glowstone.
The challenge with glowstone is similar to sandstone - making something that looks natural and "organic" if you'll pardon the term, yet still attractive as a building material.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
Hmmm; I like it but it screams "Redstone Lamp" rather then "Glowstone" to me - Glowstone is always the tough one; the number of texture packs with a disjointed Glowstone texture.

Ahhhhh... penny's dropped. I'd seen both but just thought they were different people's interpretation of Glowstone. Of course, mine should be the Redstone Lamp. Thanks, guys.
Updated for 12w08a.
Added textures for Redstone Lamp (screenshot).
Rustier iron block and furnace.
Fixed Crafting Table II hinges and added inventory item texture. First post and download updated.
I have no idea what that crafting table II does exactly (Yet!), but the look of it and the cupboard door design are both beautiful.
I have seen a Wallsafe mod somewhere that would really look good with that kind of door.
If I can fid it again, I'll leave you a link, ozbillo.
Not demanding it be made or anything, just musing on concepts.
Personally, I like the crystals in netherrack concept for glowstone, but I favor a amber shade of crystal over green...
I'm still getting my ass handed to me by blazes and ghasts in the Nether on a regular basis, so I know it can be difficult to appreciate the scenery when it is blowing up around you!

Hi, DarkMother :smile.gif:
It's a great mod. You don't have to position items on a grid to make things. It presents you with a visual list of the things you can make with your current inventory. And item descriptions, as well.

I actually had an easy run on my last visit to mine some Glowstone. Must have caught them on their coffee break.
I hope Ganesha, Brigit and Hermes and free on Monday. Got my first job interview :smile.gif:
ozbillo, don't worry, those three are like clowns, they're already there.
Well, the interview went very well, indeed. I'll find out later in the week one way or the other. Fast-growing company, interesting, varied and challenging work. Got my fingers crossed!
Thank you, Cupcakes :smile.gif:

It's got me thinking :smile.gif: ... but I better finish the current project first!
Thanks, LutherAD. I appreciate your support.

I had a quick look and couldn't find it. If you do, please send me the link.

Hi, LightBringer81.
At this stage I don't have a plan to do IndustrialCraft or the BC-IC stuff. That may change.
What do you reckon?
i like it!
could you try adding a border?
(maybe you can use your bedrock as neatherrack)
EDIT:are you planning on making tools to?
EDIT2:can you make connected textures support?
(the mod itself is outdated, but its a part off optifine)
Glowstone looks good with the facets, may suggest little triangular corners of the dark red netherrack on it, for blending it into nether cliff walls.
May the road rise with you!
(This space for Wallsafe pointer, searching now)
Thanks, jippii_ja :smile.gif:
Not sure what you mean. What kind of border? Got an example?
That's a good idea!
At the moment I don't have plans to make tools. But that may change.
That's a possibility.
i meant like a frame
(sorry, english is not my first language)
That's ok :smile.gif:
Like a metal frame around the edge of the block?
I avoided that sort of thing so it would look more natural in the Nether.

Good idea. I'll experiment with that.
