The new cobble is nice but there is a fine black line that's noticable near the bottom of the right side. Aside from that, it goes nicely, with no visible tiling.
Thanks, HeadHunter.
I think the line you mean is the edge of the skinniest stone near the middle at the bottom of the block. It does need a bit more work. I'll get on it! :smile.gif:
Ah, cobblestone, humble base building block of MC (Well, after logs, timber and sandstone!).
Compares original block to new block.
It does fit better with the other textures in the second version, so as part of a pack, it is a better choice.
Still like the original though. Save it for the 128 version?
I like the new cobble, but I think I like the original more! Has more depth and just seems more real, which is what I like! Just my opinion, but keep up the great work.
PS: making texture packs is kinda fun isn't it? I barely built anything in the last 4 weeks lol.
Tweaked cobblestone to remove thin black line. Well spotted, HeadHunter67.
Adjusted the bed texture for MC 1.7_01.
See the first post for the textures.
Oh, that's beautiful. I'll bet that Glimmar would appreciate what you've done there.
Any chance we can get an iron door and block to match your furnace and dispenser sometime soon? I have a "fridge" in my house that's basically an iron block with a dispenser atop it, a button on the side and an iron door in front. When you push the button, the door opens and a porkchop comes out! I love your dispenser and furnace but they don't match the otherwise shiny look of the rest of the appliance. :smile.gif:
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
Added a rough old rusty piston that's a little bit steampunk.
See the first post for the textures.
Awesomest Piston evah >.>
OK, so here's a newer version of MultiGlass, changed to allow more textures, the number of which can be changed with the Props File. http://bit.ly/ir94Ti
BIG IMPORTANT THING: Not realising Minecraft is updated, it is for 1.6.6. A 1.7 version will arrive..sometime.
Please read the Read Me, as it has the hardness levels that you'll need. Default number of textures is 4. Cycle forward by hitting the block with a Stone Sword, and cycle back by Crouch then hitting with the sword.
The default textures are a thing I'm working on that I was too lazy to change, so, ignore those for now >.>
im not to fond of the new wood....love the smaller windows...just not the new wood, it looks too new for the other textures. oh and i think the small window border would look nice on the green window... but thats just me.
just saw the bed and piston... and they look amazing...also saw the arched windows and they look good but not with blocks other than wood so i think the square windows are more adaptive with other blocks.

Here's the door off my old beer fridge on the back porch. The red and white sticker on it says "If you drink, then drive, you're a bloody idiot".
And I've done an iron block to match the furnace/dispenser.
I've put both textures in the alternates in the first post.

I've actually done an alternate arched window with a cobblestone background. I just haven't added it to the alternates group yet. I'll do one with bricks, too, at some point. They should work well with the MultiBlocks mod that Valas is working on.
Thanks Headhunter and Ozbrillo, for the "Beer Fridge"...
Not only does it look cool, the pair of you have just hooked a mate of mine into Minecraft with that particular combination of concept and art.
Now all I have to do is hunt him down a Beer Brewing Mod...
PS: Piston is great, rusted, but efficient looking!
New wood planks! The old one just didn't seem to fit so I've moved it to the alternates.
I've also added alternate arched windows with cobble and brick backgrounds and an alternate porthole with the new wood planks background.
See the first post for the textures.

I suspect my initial enthusiasm was overly optimistic. After trying many Beer Brewing Mods I still only manage to get cooked pork chops... if anything at all. :sad.gif:
There was a chap who had an themed mod pack a while ago...
Crocodiles as an animal mob option, vegimite as a food crafting option, Collingwood Fanboy skin for Zombies (apologies if you're a Collingwood 4 life fan!), you get the general idea! I will see if I can find the thread again, see if they added the beer mod to the pack, and what version MC it runs with.
To be fair, I fancy the concept of Beer Mines in MC. In polar biomes only, of course (too many Ice Brew adverts on the tv). Think Nandonald had an ice machine mod too...
I think I'd better stop blathering about beer for a sec, and say new wood is good. Tiles well, has plank ends visible, but not too many of them, has pleasing uncluttered look to it. Is it just me, or did you tweak the colour as well?

I thought you were just joking about a Beer Brewing Mod that made real beer :smile.gif:

Thanks, DarkMother. That was it's first appearance and it's completely new wood. I did experiment with some other ideas, like the one behind the beer fridge. But this is the first one I've liked the look of in-game.
I did tweak the green window a little, though, so that it looks less flat.
Thanks, HeadHunter.

I agree. I'll get around to doing a new wood texture at some point.
Yeah. But without the border I reckon it tiles a little nicer.
Thanks, zimplexx :smile.gif:

Thanks, DarkMother. But, unfortunately, it doesn't make beer.
