I started playing around late indev early infdev I remember one day when the massive texture update came by....I miss the old cobblestone and pig texture GO DERPY EYED PIGS GO!!!!
@DubstepFinn, About the Birch Leaves, they share the same texture as the oak, but the game makes the texture darker, making it easy to tell the two apart
Glad to see you have been working on such a great pack since beta. I started playing minecraft with pocket edition. So these textures are mostly nostalgic The mid-beta mostly . Also thank you for not making everything wooden oak. I downloaded a texture pack like this were all the trees and leaves and planks were oak. I got so confused when my birch planks and my oak planks wouldn't stack lol. Btw if you didn't know for the main pack you are gonna have to update charcoal and lapis blocks when 1.6 comes out. Just take the textures from the current update, and put them in the pack so everybody who downloads doesn't have to wait for the pack to update with 1.6

Yes, the lapis block and coal block textures will changed on the 1.6 update. I find coal texture for you.

You sir have done such a great service! Unfortunately I didn't play back then... But I have played since 1.8. When I updated to 1.5 I was taken aback by the new lava texture that I personally found repulsive. (looks like nothing but cheese!) This texture-pack successfully converted the proceduraly generated lava to the new texture system. Thank you so much!

Already trying to make this a resource pack (snapshots) with nostalgic sounds and the like. I have some work ahead of me, but I found a way to help with the pack, update it with nostalgic sounds! (and old splashes from alpha, and some cooleo stuff like that)
Edit: Just need to know how to make crafting table back into grass block, and how to not make glitchy splashes...

And when I do an retro texture pack,it gets a bagillion bad comments? SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?
I've just checked out yours, and you deserve every bad comment you get:
1) You include no screenshots, you admit it's because you're too lazy, and you refuse to use image upload services with bizarre excuses.
2) You made your pack in 2013, long after a hundred other "nostalgia" packs have been made, including this one.
3) Nearly everything about your pack is broken and half-assed:
- You haven't changed chests, removed snouts from pigs, etc
- Your lava is the non-animated placeholder that was never even used in the game
- The only single thing your pack changes is the grass and foliage colour, but even then, someone had to tell you to alter foliagecolor.png and grasscolor.png so it would work.
- You dumped the entire directory of minecraft.jar into your zip, including java code folders like paulscode! (By the way, that means you're illegally distributing copyrighted material)
Basically, son, you've done a really half-assed job of something that people with a lot more skill and knowledge had already done much better. If you can't tell the difference between their quality of work and yours, then you're in trouble.
By the way @G_And_OStudios, I am also making a pack like Nostalgia Craft and the only reason why I found it was because I needed help with the grassfoliage.png. Also, I'm only helping this pack get better is because my texture pack (now resource pack) is most likely not going to be up for download. It's also fun helping people.
Do you have th older Redstone Lamp textures in your pack because the changed slightly from when the were first introduced?
