Aww man, I wish that this pack had the old lava texture. I hate that it was in the code, not a file. Do you need help recreating it? i could do it for you

Sure, the old one looked less like peanut butter.
I guess you could line up your player above a patch of lava, fraps the lava animation, and manually extract each frame (or at least as many as needed) and stitch together.
I would be happy if you did it for me, and I will credit you in the original post
Oh and all the packs will be updated to 1.5 soon™

I made a lightmap file that changes the new colored lighting into the older, pre-1.8 Beta lighting. All you have to do is put this in the "environment" folder and delete "light_normal.png".
They look good, but they also have visible noise that fluctuates around, like a random dark pixel popping up in both animations (most obvious in the static lava)
What recorder did you use? Some compression artifacts might occur with certain formats.
Can you please see if you can fix that? I'd be very grateful if you did.
Will the customizer ever be updated? Of course, it's possible to do manual customizing, and that's been made quite a bit easier with the recent texture pack changes, but customizers are still easier.

i think that was the block next to the lava that i recorded. I realized in the video that the camera was off by like 6 pixels. Then when i scaled the .png files down to 16x16, i guess the block part was big enough to make a difference in the texture. I wish i was capable of creating a perfect square xD
1.4.7 pack on 1.5? In 1.5 Mojang changed texture pack format, so block and item textures are not loaded (Look at the cobblestone, it is obviously default), but other ones (grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png in this case) are. And default grass and leaves are gray (Since they are to be colored), while old ones are green (So the texture pack has white colors to not corrupt them).
Since the new items (potatoes, carrots, melons) never really had an 'old' form, I edited them to look like they're pre-halloween update. I hope you like them! http://www.mediafire.com/?m3kuadcfai0mofp
(By the way, they're 1.5 ready!)

God, this is harder than I thought. Lol
That's weird, everything works fine for me. Unless you're using some form of client mod, I don't know why.
It is!

Thanks for making this pack!
