Yeah i agree i think the cobblestone needs to be toned down a bit. its a little too blue lol. but other than that great work. i usually cant stand playing with a texture pack on. But you made it possible :biggrin.gif:
Will do! I'll leave the old colour as an alternative, since I hate getting rid of anything entirely (I even have a "JUNK" file, which is just filled with useless pieces made while creating the pack).
As for progress, though, have some fire:
Not the best thing I've ever done, and I'm not great at animating fire, but it works, I think.
I also made an alternative Glowstone texture, which is an O-bon lantern.
The symbol is read "Hikari" in Japanese, which means "Light". I thought it quite fitting.
I'm working on GUIs at the moment. So far I have the chest and crafting bench done, with the furnace mostly completed. I also have a HD font going in with it, but it does mess up a couple of things due to a spacing error that I can't fathom.
This looks awesome! I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread! Although, I'm not too fond of the Miku face on the bed.(I'm assuming its Miku... I don't know much about things like that...)
You should make some alternate textures for things like the bed and "Pumpkins" when you can :smile.gif: anyway, great work!

I plan to make a few alternatives, but I want to get most of the textures done first. I haven't even started on the items yet! The bed features the face of Miku Hachune, who is a chibi version of Miku Hatsune and always pulling that expression.
Thanks! I'm thinking of converting this to 32x after it's all done as an alternative download, so that people with less powerful computers can still use it. I want to get the 64x version done first, of course, and scaling it all down will take time.
At the moment, I'm working on this pack, and not Steamcraft, for 2 reasons.
First of all is that I don't have the consecutive hours I need to spend on Steamcraft (do you have any idea how difficult it is to come back to a half-finished piece of code and continue it?)
Secondly, is simply that I need a change of pace. I haven't given up on Steamcraft by any means, and I fully intend to put some more work into it once my exams are over and my time frees up a little.
As for this pack, Steamcraft compatibility is one of the last things I will add, simply because I understand that a lot of people using this pack won't also be using Steamcraft, and those who do can make do with Glimmar's Pack or the Faithful 32x32 until it's done.
I've started work on the items! I have a style going, and so far, it's going pretty well. I also had an idea or two for alternative bed textures, and so I made one.
Probably because your computer is not powerful enough to run a 64x texture pack, or you're doing something horribly wrong. Do you have any mods installed?

I wish I was in this :C
Have an update.

I'll start work on the items next, but for now I have to cook and then watch Dr Who! :biggrin.gif:

Still working on the items, but it's slow progress, due to the amount of revision I have to do. ¬_¬
