These people, they are like ghosts. Always in the shadows. Always hiding behind lies and proxied soldiers. But they cannot find us. They cannot stop us, they cannot stop the future.
I'll be releasing the Aether textures as a separate download, when they are done. Two reasons for this. Firstly, there are a lot of textures, so the download filesize will be large, and because there are some armour textures that have similar, but not identical, names to those in Steamcraft. To keep them separate will help avoid confusion.
I will be reusing some of the graphics from the Steamcraft textures (though modified to fit the Aether), simply to save time, and because they are perfectly serviceable.
I've completed the terrain, gui and some of the items now. At the moment, I'm working on my mod (I have to juggle both, you see), but I will get back to Aether support soon.
The customisers are temporarily down. Dropbox suspended my account for generating excessive traffic. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative site that I might be able to upload a folder directory to?
Here's a little update on Aether support. Thought I'd give you something as a bit of a tease.
Welcome to the Aether!
This is my house. It's built in the entranceway to a Bronze Dungeon, so lets go and have a look at that.
I've already beaten this dungeon, so there isn't much here, but you get the idea.
Here's the inventory screen!
And the Book of Lore!
This is a Golden Oak. They look rather.... gold.
Lets have a look at some ores. This is Zanite. (You can see some Ice Stone in there, too)
And this is Ambrosium. I couldn't find any Gravitite. All the ores, you may notice, are recycled from Steamcraft's sprites, but they do have sufficiently different colours, so you can tell them apart. Not that both mods work at the same time.
This is an Ambrosium Shard, again recycled from a Steamcraft sprite. A lot of the sprites are recycled and edited, mostly to save time and get the compatibility out as quickly as possible. Partially because there's no point drawing more; they look quite good as-is.
Well, that's pretty much it! Keep an eye on this for when it comes out!
Looking rather Awsum so far =), i like how you're using your other steamcraft textures, i mean the sprites all fit in and they all already look fantastic so why not =P
Looks good, but when i tried in ingame, some textures were really glitchy, jackolantern had a lava face(seriously, the side with his face on it was just lava) Gold had 2 things of fire in it, Diamond Swords are pretty bad too, same with almost all wood tools, still gonna support and favorite the page, hope you fix, it looks really good :happy.gif:

I love the textures and am going to use this once it comes out, I was wondering if when completed there would still be spacing between the letters, Keep up the great work

I'm not sure what causes the spaces between the lettering. I think it's something to do with the image format, since downloading the file from minecraftcustomiser.net does not produce the spaces. I'll look into it before the next release.
I'm most of the way through the Aether's items now. It's a little annoying, the way it's set up, because I can't have different armour icons for the new armours; it just tints the Iron Armour icons. I'll make do.
I have a feeling testing all of the dungeon drops will be hard =/
i am interested in how the mobs will turn out though. Good luck with searching for those items =)
I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night
That is the logo of Team Dai-Gurren.
I suggest you watch Gurren Lagann.
I'll be sure to do that sometime!

You have to use the Minecraft HD Texture Patcher, otherwise some textures will glitch like that.
