1.)Xau's patcher is outdated. It makes your game crash because of that. Get the new one. It's stickied at the top of the page.
2.)If it makes your game crash, it's not necessarily a virus.
OH NO! Xau's extremely outdated patcher doesn't work with the current version of Minecraft! THIS IS HORRIBLE!
