Doku specifically says in his first post that he doesn't want his textures used in any other pack until it's complete and even then, only if doku gives permission for that person to use them.
Any material that is the work of another individual but is being represented as original. Permission must be obtained from the original creator, and due credit must be given, before including any element of that creator's work. enough said.
Since texture packs are made and shared freely, he/she doesn't need permission.
Have you checked with each individual artist here on these forums what their conditions of use are?
Many texture packs are uploaded by their creators for 'personal use only'. The 'sharing' part is done by the original artist, not by all and sundry! Any further sharing on these forums is done with the express permission of the original artist. Who gave you the right to decide what can be done with work which quite obviously 'belongs' to someone else?
Please read the conditions of use applied to each texture pack and the forum rules before making such innacurate statements.
I sincerely vote that we have a "dokuwatch". Users in the "dokuwatch" go around and lock remix threads. All these users can do is lock threads in the texture packs section. Anyone else agree??

it is someones work being stolen and used without permission is Illegal.
And this pack won't go far, people can mix things themselves.

you see, this is why completely disallowing remixes wouldnt be that bad.
because the rule is so simple, everyone would understand it, even people like this.
