can anyone give me some pointers?
Im working on a steampunk texturepack.
this is my first so all im working with is: microsoft paint the trial of winrar and my own mind.

You will achieve nothing with MS Paint. Get something halfway decent like GIMP or Paint.NET, or Photoshop if you can afford it.

Paint.NET is much better / simpler imo. OP, if you see this, I suggest paint.NET

k just use paint.net.. it's easier in my opinion.
