HUGE POST REVAMP INCOMING!!! I'm gonna try and get some better ingame screen shots and make my post generally more professional and better looking so, there won't be many more updates until I can get some good screen shots and remake this post :tongue.gif:
Coal, iron, and smooth stone.
Gold and redstone.
Diamond and lapis.
Side of grass and dirt texture.
Top of grass.
Sand.
Cobblestone.
Mossy cobblestone.
Wooden planks.
Book shelves.
Normal logs.
Glass.
Wooden door.
Chest.
Crafting bench.
Suger cane.
Now, most of these textures are just slightly edited and darkened vanilla textures, but thats the way i like 'em :tongue.gif:
Sorry its been so long since an update, i've been real busy with school :/
Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it. And I'll work more on the coal, that was the best I could conjure up in an hour :s Coal has been a real pain for me and I don't know why :/

I agree, you should go for the embedded look with the ores, it's easy to make it look nice. I do like the stone a lot, nice smooth look without being boring.
Ok! i'll try and get some work done on it tonight :wink.gif: And thanks so much for taking the time to look at this and post a reply, it helps immensely.

I like the smooth stone. And people probably like how light it is. My smooth stone is not smooth and is not very light, which is how I want it, but not everybody likes it that way. :tongue.gif:
My pack first had coal like yours, but I've found that it seems to work better when I make the coal a dark grey. That way, I can use black to accent it in some way. Like perhaps what the others suggested here. All the same, I don't mind the coal as it is here.
The iron ore looks inset because the stone is dark above it and light below it. If you make it instead dark (and iron colored) below it, and light (and iron colored) above it, it'll look more like an ore sticking out of the rock some, if that's what you want...
I quite like, but the dark shade above the iron is too dark!
Hurray! My inspiration to make my pack has posted!
(No offense karob, he was the guy that inspired me to make a Tex pack because I love his packs so much! But you, Karob, have help me so much through ideas an such, so thank you too!)

So...Tell me what you think!

Don't do that too much - it upsets people. Maybe upload a new screenshot, then bump it. :tongue.gif:
Crap! I'm so nooby at posting pictures :/
Ahhhh you bumbed :ohmy.gif:
:wink.gif:
Looks realy nice, but the redstone looks a bit weird with this dark outline, maybe make it like the coal just with a other shape. :smile.gif:
There was much rejoicing. (Yay)
Looking good so far, but people love it when you post pictures. Even if its only one or two more blocks, post it and ask opinions.
:cool.gif:
It was supposed to be (A very poor attempt at) iron :s
Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
