Hello, I'm working on my first texture pack which I want to somewhat resemble Final Fantasy.
I desperately need suggestions, so feel free to post them.

Idea:Make the Diamond Sword, Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7. If you already had that in mind, here's another suggestion, make the Iron Sword look like Lion Heart from Final Fantasy 8.

This actually seems like a very good idea, since I am a Final Fantasy fanboy at heart :tongue.gif:
One idea I would suggest is turn diamond swords into Tidus's brotherhood sword in Final Fantasy 10. I know its a lame suggestion, and Adam already said to turn the buster sword into a diamond sword, but I could not think of anything else Also, you can also turn chickens into Chocobo's. Hope this helps and good luck.

For style I would look at FF6. It's the best looking of the 16 bit games.

I'm not saying rip those textures, but for inspiration. ya know.

I think Iron sword buster blade and Diamond the Brotherhood. And have the golden sword the Nirvana.

I was originally thinking Tidus's sword for diamond sword, but I think Cloud's Buster Sword is a better idea. And I don't think any idea is lame, unless it has already been given. I was thinking chocobos for chickens too. I got that as my first idea for this texture actually.

I think it needs a version of the Masamune in there. Or the Caladbolg. Turn creepers into Cactuar. That would be unbelievable.

YES. As for wooden, ought to be Orichalcum or something like that. As for fishing rod, you gotta make it Magic of some sort.

Some of the pictures should be like the Shinra symbols and other stuff like some characters from the games.

If its possible, since you actually ride the pigs, change their texture to that of a chocobo...I've seen the sheep and creepers get changed into different shapes so I don't think its impossible.
