--~-introduction-~--
I present to you, the Minecraft community, my very first texture pack. It's a little something called "legend craft". My inspirations for it were mostly John Smith with a little bit of Doku. It's still very, very WIP, but I'm fast approaching it's release. Please, if you download my pack, leave a comment about it. Did you like it? Hate it? If this texture pack was an attractive member of the opposite gender, would you marry it? Lemme know!
--~-pictures-~--
I was going to give you guys a shot of the test track, but then this happened:
Note to whoever made the test track: don't make it come with a flint and steel. Just don't.
So if you have a nice house or whatever, take a picture of it and I'll probably put it in the OP. That's how you can show your support for this pack.
I do have a few recent pictures, though:
I'm using a new grass as of now that uses very subtle biome shading. This allows me to leave the blocks in color instead of greyed out, so we can have colorful wildgrass!
Here's a house...pretty simple. You have your workbench, furnace, and double chest back there, with a torch in the foreground and cobblestone/wood planks all the way through.
I promise I'll get more pictures up soon, but here's the terrain.png. Use your imagination! Scroll through the topic for outdated pictures! Just bare with me for a sec.

If you use 7zip then select all the files you want to include in the texture pack, then right click --> 7zip --> Add to <name of folder files are in>.zip
Then just upload to a file hosting website/put in your dropbox folder if you have dropbox
Also, don't compress the folder the files are in, just the files themselves, because you'll get an extra directory to navigate through if you extract the zip file

that did the trick! and playing the game made me realize how much work i have to do...so many things don't tile very well :sad.gif:
It was weird though...bricks and gold blocks and pumpkins were all firey and portaly and lava-y. I guess I forgot to repatch after 1.6.5.
Ok, the download link is up, and I put up a few screens. Please tell me what I can do better...but realize I haven't gotten to any mobs or paintings yet.
Included in the zip is a "terrain_alt", which I have called the "Toon Flavor". It has some earlier, more cartoony textures, if you like that look better.
This pack looks great so far! I'm excited to see this progress.
One thing that I'm finding unattractive are the sides of the workbench. It may look better if the [X] on the sides were a bit darker, or better textured. Just imo. :smile.gif:
Ok...here's sneak peak at the update plus a few questions. Here's a few pictures...I just have to finish the wolf textures and the slimes... and *gulps in anticipation* the spider.
heres the tnt in action.
a new breaking animation
working on mobs...
a look at the particles from a portal just off-screen plus a look at the mossy and cobble.
@hehewoot Haha, I don't even have it bookmarked! Glad you like it so far!
@challenge yep, now that I look at it, that x does need some touching up. I'll darken it for now and maybe retexture it later.
@croco. Thanks! it's fun to see how my style is developing so fast.
does anyone know how redstone is supposed to work? take a look at the terrain.png...how do i get that white part to be colored red when the redstone is on and dark when it's off? Or do i have everything in the wrong spot?

Hey, my pack could use some nitpicking...is there anyone out there who's just dying to tear my pack to pieces with suggestions of how to do better?
