A black screen at mods and texture packs?

For the past couple of days (2)I have not been able to get my texture packs Can anyone help me?

You need to run the latest HD patcher. Sticky is at the top of this section, follow the instructions therein.

The game was recently updated. All mods for v1.5_01 will have stopped working. You need to wait for the mods you have to become available for v1.6.5 (current version... it may update again in a week). If you know about this, and still don't know what's wrong, try reinstalling and remember to delete META-INF from minecraft.jar.
