Ok, my second pack to be displayed here. This one takes from an elvish theme, hence the name, and is progressing quite rapidly though the textures, even compared to my (discontinued) 16x pack. My first HD pack, and I'm just beginning the basics of pixel art. I use GIMP ,a free photo editor. Some of the textures are done (all trees, planks, regular torches, etc.) and the others are just waiting for me to find a stock photo.
I'm ungodly awful at items and such, so I would love a collaboration effort between another person and myself to do this pack. The other person would need to be able to do mobs, items, and possibly armour.(Not to mention be able to be as-good-as me at least at pixel art.) I would work on the GUI and blocks. Plus, whatever the other cannot do.
If you wish to help me PM me with your time zone, times you can work(In CST preferably, I'll decipher what isn't is CST.), and a link to some of your work, or a picture.
Now, on to a screenshot of the terrain.png.
I still have a lot of stuff to do and also, the diamond block was a failed test. Diamond block fixed? Tell me in comments! Oh almost forgot! The breaking animation is Gestankfaust's, I love his work, you should check out his pack Mythos.

This texture pack requires MC patcher, located here. Just select HD textures and HD font. Then click patch. The full instructions are in the thread.
I realy like this pack! But i'd much prefer the cobble to be a sort of rough stone brick. not a perfect brick but a very rough rounded one (like in Dokucraft and others)

Oh my, I never thought you would even view this pack, let alone like it. But I could really use a lava animation I only saw the greenish-blue one and didn't think it would fit into this pack well. But thank you!

Also, when I get time, I'll take a proper look at this and give ya feedback. Just take your time and don't stop til it all looks how you like it. Ask people for screens of their builds so you can see it through others eyes.

Hey, thanks, adn that is a good idea about he other peoples screens. I just got Ubuntu so I have to redownload all my software on here, but it is a lot faster and nicer.
Update, partially finished workbench, finished chests, finished furnace. My reasoning of leaving them "clean" is that Steve, is a master craftsman, therefore, he makes exceptional workbenches and chests. :smile.gif: Also, I'm really sick, I could only manage this much before I was to badly ill with a migraine before I could finish workbenches, lastly, people who view this, please leave a reply, it helps me finish this.

and before i judge this too much ingame screenshots need to be present
edit: lots of work to be done
the only blocks i have a problem with are iron ore and the gold ore block
they look too similar
Wow, I just now realized that you edited your post.
I will update soon with new ores, I, and you, are just not happy with the current ores.
And that covers the changes to this version.
Thanks! I just finished the custom_water_still file now I need to finish the flowing and water will be outta the way.
The updated terrain.png with chests and all torches/lever finished.
