Awesome new textures. Seriously. A few stray thoughts, but given everything you have done you really dont need my help:
Wheat, just a thought: maybe energy blades of some sort, antennae, these kinds of things? They dont have to be plant-like at all to me.
Reeds: maybe something similar to your torch texture - tall energy conduits.
Tall grass: like what you have for wheat as a start for tall grass. Something perhaps crystalline and what you have is already close to this.
Think a little subtle, or not so subtle, call out to Bit might be really cool. Each of the flowers as yes/no states? Depends really. I am not 100% sure it would work.

For those asking I'm getting close to releasing , for the last couple days I have put in 6 hours a day editing , I refuse to "hurry " and release extra poor crap so it's slightly stressful but I'm like 4 textures away from being "done" with the terrain file ( this is the one that takes all my time) Everything else is all ready mapped out. Of course there will be MUCH tweaking to make my stuff look better but I can do that after release.

thats a good texture for the reeds and yeah i want this tex pack to come out but i am not rushing it since good things take time

It'll probably depend on the context with the other textures in the pack - their brightness and contrast etc - but I am thinking the one on the right, based on what I have seen. Or, something in between these two.
The left one reminds me of the "outer" parts of town, the movie gives off the feeling that everything is "New" but it's really just a bunch of gritty textures snazzed up with glow here and there.
Wow this is probably the nicest texture pack I've ever seen. Congratulations sir, you are the first person in all of Minecraft Forums to make me bookmark a page :smile.gif:
I will be looking forward to the release of this pack! I have a lot of packs I downloaded already, for different story uses, so if this comes out soon, that would be very nice!

For your torch dilemma I'd say if you soften the edges of the top part with an inner glow then maybe it would look less like a white block. Keep up the excellent work

Yeah I have tried both ways ( not saying it can't be done better) But it seems like out right blinding the "user" ( LULULULUL GET IT? ) Gets the best result when it transfers into minecraft. The biggest issue is the sides of the block share the top on the "glowing" part and it's annoying.
They both seem good, the first one seems more tron like though. The second seems more sleek and technological. Not that tron isn't technological and sleek.

I can see where you're coming from there. It's added that ends up being redundant in the end. I think your best bet is sticking with those subtle blue glow torches. Have you thought about artificially lighting the top of the torches to make it seem like they are actually glowing? It's just a thought. =)

I supose when you consider that torches will be used everywhere the lines can be a bit too much
