Very nice continuation from what I saw before. Actually, I like the chests. The false edges, the sides and the simplicity are all very nice. I agree with keeping them as a base and thinking ablout some subtle tweaks, but I like the start on them. Armor and new textures look great.
You should also make something like a mirror. That would be really cool. One other thing, in Legacy they have that thing at his Dad's house, the thing they walked through to get to the pool, is there any way you could make something that acts like that, look like it (if there is anything that acts like that).

Well I assumed from the pictures you saw some of that in use . For now it's the glass I can't think of any way to make you be able to walk through it without using the "air" blocks but then all "air" blocks would look that way. Just gotta make due I suppose I want to do so much but it's hard with no light source control ;\.
Anyways here is a dumb fun city I JUST started sculpting out hah.
Also like two posts up you can see the "Stuff in his dad's house" for glass.
Ya I thought it was glass, but i like glass that way it is... maybe without the streaks..
Found something good, in the PortalGun mod there's this thing called MEG that kills all portals that are up. It looks like a bunch of floating streaks, but you could skin it to look like that.
This just helps show that for an amazing texture patch, you need support for mods... Does this convince you?
I have to agree with the others, this pack looks incredible. I'm all for the aesthetics of making minecraft look pretty, and honestly, this is the only high-rez texture pack I'd get because of how well it's made. I cant wait for you to be able to share this to the community.

Hey there! Me and my friend Kirby232 are planning on making Minecraft LP videos, and even our own adventure map! We've got a tumblr blog set up so one can stay in the news for updates on what we're doing, go check it out!
After a few hours of trial and error I got the glow to pop the way I wanted it to. I know it sounds like a super easy task but the fact that the blocks don't have light sources and the colors have to flow / fit into the minecraft look ( trying to make a bright world always look dark) This was the final result.

Proper contrast = The look/feel of Tron.
THIS
is awesome. I wanna try this pack out soooo much.

I'm trying my best to keep going without rushing , I'm going to release it early and constantly tweak it to be better but I don't want to release it with some of the "textures" that I didn't finish. It has a couple left that were not made by me ( I'm pasting over a random 128x128 layout) and I'm not down with the art theft =X. So as soon as I can get the basic textures down so I'm not ripping anybodys I will give an early release then go back and fine tune textures ect.
The new clay yay! ( I'm smooth with words I know , I know.)
How do you guys feel about this idea- So I wanted to make "place able" glow and this is the best way I found to be able to do green AND orange without wasting to many tiles. the only downside is it doesn't perfectly outline doors and it can be slightly annoying placing "pictures" until you get the right one. ( but it does angles just fine). Seems like the best way to line a building or room . The look will change some but this is the best result for this concept.
To put it simply " Place art of the wall until you get the one you want"
With some simple hidden torch tricks they can glow quite bright.
Examples...
Any better ideas or other ideas for place-able glow please feel free to let me know.

Thats a first quick try?
