Oh god, sorry guys, I got distracted working on my pack!
Gimme about half an hour and I'll upload the pack. Just a few more stained clay blocks to go.
Oh and jetstorm, I think I will do that. Fantastic mod!
I'll upload the pack first, then I'll upload the better grass and leaves stuff a little while after that because I have to start work on it first!
EDIT: That guy looks awesome, levaunt! Keep us posted with more stuff if you can, I'm actually really curious to see the art style of the concept art you're making!
Ok, sorry that took longer than I was expecting! Also found out the lead knot wasn't done so I've completed that too. While recolouring the last of the stained clays I've also decided I'm really not a fan of my texture for it so I'm going to be redoing that some stage soon. Probably when the next snapshot is released so I can test it in that new stained clay biome. Better grass and leaves mod support comes first though because it's an awesome mod and everyone should use it.
Everything looked like it was ok... (at least, I didn't see any blatant errors...) At least you guys are here to let me know what's wrong anyway, I'll have a look through and fix it ASAP.
EDIT: Can I get a list of exactly what isn't working? That way I can fix it more easily and I'm less likely to miss anything. I'll look through and find what's wrong for now, but yea, mentioning the broken files would be great!
EDIT2: Yup, just noticed a lot of it wasn't actually working at all. The normal textures were there but the CTM was non-existent. Sorry for not noticing it earlier...
most of it is just having to rename ctm property files, I've managed to fix a good bit of it. Having some issues with the spruce planks still, the zombie and zombie_villager png's need to be moved to textures/entity/zombie/ from where they currently are in the mcpatcher folder, right now zombies show up as vanilla. Once I fixed the zombies I found an issue with zombie villagers wearing leather armor, trying to sort that out now. also the animation mcmeta file for glowstone needs to be fixed, it displays black/purple squares. Grab the 40.png.mcmeta from Levaunts 5_3 pack and replace what you have, it fixes the issue.

Sweet, I've fixed all the normal random CTM stuff now, so sandstone, smoothstone slabs, cobble, etc. Is all working fine now. I've also done the leaves for better grass and leaves support too. Hopefully I'll have a fixed download up shortly!
I've updated the old link up there as well just in case. I'm pretty sure I fixed everything. Added a new icon for the new status effect (given by eating a golden apple) and I added the empty potion bottle too. There's also the leaves section of the better grass and leaves mod too. Will finish the grassy stuff a bit later and will probably remove a few of the leaves from the current ones because they're a bit thick.
One thing I had a problem with though - the cobblestone wall CTM. For some reason no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work so if anybody has any pointers, it would be much appreciated.
I wouldn't want you to neglect your own pack for mine, don't feel too pressured or rushed! Other people can pick up the slack. As for the update, I have only looked at your first version, so bugs aside everything else looks good.
One thing though, and I probably should have mentioned it before, the spruce planks still aren't exactly how I imagined them. I'd like them to connect either horizontally or vertically depending on how they are placed. I know a few ways to do that if you need help with it; If I recall my other planks did that.
In regards to the hardened clay. If that picture of the new biome in 1.7 uses hardened clay as a ground texture, then I may be able to make a texture for it. The reason I put it off was because I wanted an interesting new building material, like bricks. However if it's going to essentially be a type of stone, then I have a few old WIP textures that I could fix up to be a hardened clay.

Oh, yes please for the hardened clay. I've really grown to hate the one I made. OK for a first attempt but I really need some more practice at 32x. So much more space to allow for more interesting shading and whatnot, been stuck at 16x for too long!
I'll see what I can do with the spruce planks as well, I *think* I know how to make them connect vertically and horizontally. If not then I'll just look at your old planks CTM.
Taking a break from my pack is a good thing at the moment as well as well, working on villagers which gets tedious if I just keep texturing them for too long so little breaks are most welcome.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, if anyone else knows how to do the spruce ctm, go ahead, you only need to rotate some textures and edit properties files so you don't need to have skill in texturing at all. Just ctm knowhow.
The issues I was having with the spruce planks is I use spruce for my flooring and what I would like to see is the new posts ctm for vertical while keeping the old spruce for flooring purposes. Also the random iron bands doesn't seem that great, I think it would be better if the iron bands were only at the top and the bottom. Also vertical ctm changed so the reeds ctm wasn't working either, can't seem to get it fixed on my end.
update on the zombie villager in leather issue, I'm not sure why its messing up, I can't find any issue with the textures themselves that would cause it and I'm not having the problem with any other packs but I have a few ideas on a possible fix. Have to fiddle some more but if I can figure out the cause I'll let you know so we can update it in the pack.

What is the issue with the zombie villagers in leather? Is it forcing the villagers to be default textures? What's messing up with the reeds as well? Mine seem to be working perfectly fine, CTM and everything.
Also, the spruce is changing, I'm currently figuring out how I can add the metal bands in for vertical columns (only at the top and bottom) while also keeping the old style of spruce CTM where if you place a 1 wide column of spruce, it will be vertical, and then as soon as it's 2 across in any direction, the planks become horizontal. Making them horizontal and vertical was easy, just adding in the metal bands (and hopefully that other texture that will go on the ends of the spruce planks) is proving to be quite difficult. Still no luck with the cobblestone/mossy wall CTM either...
Good thing we're getting through these bugs now though, that should mean everything will just work in the future as it's unlikely mojang will be changing the texture format again. (hopefully)
Seems the reed ctm is fixed in the new download you put up.
Zombie villager issue: with mcpatcher top of head goes through the hat and the mask doesn't show up from the overlay.
with vanilla 1.6.2
It might be something we won't be able to fix however I don't notice the issue with Dokucraft or Sphax.
I have to work tomorrow but after work I can take a look at the cobble/mossy wall ctm and see if I can figure out the issue after I get off.
Items still needed: horse armor+icons, Charcoal texture, updated gold armor icons, possibly a new clay block texture (I know Levaunt just gave us a new one but when you see it with sand and dirt, it just doesn't feel like it fits the pack very well), new hardened clay (no offense sheep, it just seems too dulled and muted and I just can't bring myself to like the design itself in builds.), fix cobble/mossy wall ctm, fix spruce ctm, complete 2x2 log top texture and use it for 2x2 jungle tree ctm.
I think that is about it. Oh and I'll talk to my buddies at Dokucraft, one of them found a fix to the display issues of cactus in flower pots. See if he can tell me what he did so we can fix how goofy ours looks.

Huh, that is quite a strange issue... :/
I'll poke around and see if there's a way to fix it. Never seen anything like that before though so yea, hard to find a place to start...
Horse armour+icons will probably just be done when the horses are done at some stage in the future although we could probably do the icons a bit earlier so they don't look so ugly in the inventory. Charcoal is easy. Clay I'm not fussed if a new one is made or not. I like the one levaunt made but the old one is still there if you want to use it. Oh, as for the hardened clay block, no offence taken! I really don't like it myself now. It's my first 32x texture in about a year so it's gonna take a little bit of practising before I really get back up to speed with that and it shows.
Levaunt did say he might be able to make us a new hardened clay texture though, since it's going to be more of a natural texture as it's going to be used in biomes in the future.
I think we could also add the enchanting table to that list though, it feels really outdated now. Grass textures for better grass and leaves can also be added too.
You know, it might be easier to make a google doc or something that we can all edit to add a list of things that need to be fixed or things we thing are old/could have ctm added to them. It would be better than writing these huge comments and cluttering up the thread!
As for the 2x2 log, I think I have an idea of how do do it (use the default ctm method like with glass so the 2x2 ONLY appears when it's a full 2x2 pattern, otherwise it will be single logs). I really hate the big logs that connect in an 'L' shape on the top. It looks really silly imo so I would personally only make the logs work when they are squares.
Still no luck with the cobblestone/mossy wall CTM either...
You might try using the 'CTM method'. The one generally used for glass. Just make most of the pieces the regular planks, and put the iron bands on the 'ends'. I'll also take a look at the cobblestone wall later, not sure what is wrong with it. When I used your version it seemed to be working at first glance.
As for a google doc, that is a great idea. If anyone has experience with them you can make one, if not I'll give it a shot when I get home later.
