Possibly my favorite pack. I can't wait to see what you do with the armor sets.
One small gripe though;
Smooth stone blends in too well with Cobble stone to my eyes. Something about that smooth stone doesn't look smooth to me, heh. Maybe something to look into if enough people don't like it.
Technically it's not called smooth stone, it's just stone, the only reason people call it "smooth" stone is because the default stone is rather smooth looking.
@Leostereo: Pixel art is actually fairly new to me, nearly all my stuff is various texture packs. And I don't have an online gallery of any other work, but I could see about uploading some stuff.
@Xorjt: I knew I forgot to test something about the UI. Well at least it's not something you see all the time, I'll have it fixed in the next update.
@everyone else: I do agree that the cobble and stone look to similar, so I'll probably adjust the color of one at some point. And if anyone missed earlier in the post, I will add a smooth alternate for the stone when I work on a customizer.
Also thank you for all the support and kind words!
extremely good, is proud! do you take mob skin suggestions? if so,spider should be robots. (Faceless ones=nice skullduggery plesant refrence there....)
A few things I've noticed after playing with your pack for a while.
In 1.8.1 there is a new XPorb.png file that has several XP orbs in it, all different sizes. You still only have 1 XP orb, so many XP orbs are invisible in game.
The fishing rod is really odd, it looks like it's floating in front of you, plus when you cast it the string is just floating in front of it.
I love the aggressive mobs, but the peaceful mobs are kind of bland, the cow looks silly with the gold.
This is an astounding texture pack. Truly amazing. It really gives off that old RPG game feel.
Just a really small suggestion; is it possible to change the texture or at least the colour of the buttons? The thing I don't like about buttons is that for the default texture they have the same texture as stone. It makes it quite hard to spot...
Oh and I wanted to ask about the paintings, because right now they just show up as very dark blurs when put up.
@CowThing: Yes I will have to add more orbs, I didn't notice that change, and the rod just needs to be flipped. As for the mobs, I might add more alternates when I work on the customizer, but I rather like them.
@XiuHao: Buttons use the stone texture, there is no way around that. And paintings (and chests from what I've seen) are bugged in 1.8.1. Regardless of texture pack they can get nearly pitch black.

Alright! Also something else I noticed is the armor icons are really weird, I always see full armor. I think your "missing armor" icon is the same as full armor.
I did something very very strange today and decided to try out a new texture pack. I gave this one a shot since the images in the OP actually interested me, which is a rarity. So far I like it. It has a very unforgiving style, which I think is good. Coming from something like Sphax's pack takes a lot of adjusting but the RPG style of this pack, while being pretty unique, is similar to Doku (which is not a bad thing, I love Doku).
So far the only thing I have to say about it is that the colors are very.. strong. There's sort of a muted, almost pastel feel to everything. It looks very "super nintendo". After playing for about 20 minutes, my eyes hurt a little and feel like they have to adjust to normal colors. I don't normally have this problem with anything, mind you.
However, I really like it. I'm sure after using it more it will become even better.
Side note: I really love the vines and EXP orbs. Nicely done.
I downloaded the pack and I liked it but there's just one thing, the diamond and gold armor. I don't know if it's just a glitch or you just haven't added them yet. So if you just haven't added then please soon, and if you have help me lol.
