You're right about HD textures, but you'll miss the CTM and the Skies which are really awesome ! You won't have different types of mobs, and no HD font support...
MCPatcher is still required if you want to fully enjoy the pack
Yeah and after testing it all the block textures are massively screwed up until you update all the chunks, thanks though still love the texture pack.
Hey Levaunt, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm wanting my cobble to match the stone color more but I'm having difficulty with making the darkened areas on the CTM match with the hue and sat shifts. Could you alter one of the CTM cobble textures that has a dark spot using the stone's colors that I could just mass alter the entire set with? It would be a huge help.

It's too bright!
The lighting gives away the illusion that your house/castle/cave/etc is well lit enough, but then when you move to another pack, you see that it isn't at all! So then you have zombies and skeletons spawning in your house and sneaking up on you. >__<
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't *like* the lighting; it's very nice and smooth and I like how different areas and items emit different light, but imo it's quite inconvenient to have to switch to another pack to really know whether your dwelling is bright enough for living in.
its called F3... pulls up the debug menu which you look for the bl variable (block light) and walk around looking for anything below level 8. or install a mod that gives you a visible representation of where mobs can spawn.

It's better to look after BL equal or below 8 !
Hostiles can't spawn if light level is 8 or more, but keep in mind that BL shows the light level at your head, and if light sources aren't on ground level but on walls or higher, then your feet will be a unit lower than the BL written on your screen.
Keep in mind that BL 9 means your feet are 8 or 10 (safe) but BL 8 means you walk on 7 or 9, and 7 can cause you trouble
I love the texture pack! But recently, when I updated to 1.5.1, the texture pack stopped being 1.5 optimized, and it just has the same stone/sand/wood pattern and such. Plus, many other things. It's upsetting, and I was wondering, is there a way to fix this in the folder? or do we have to wait for another download?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Did you update MCPatcher to 3.0.3? Maybe that is the problem. The pack isn't causing any issues for me.
I've recently become a huge fan of this texture pack, and with 1.5 out you no longer need mc patcher or optifine for HD textures, correct?
So with that said i was wondering if i could use this texture pack as a server-side texture pack for a public server, it doesn't say anything about that in the terms of use. thanks for any reply it would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone may use this pack as their servers texture pack. So long as you follow all the other terms of use when using it.
@Levaunt: You probably have other things on your mind but maybe you want to add these to your list.
- Any plans for the watch/clock? I like its design but when it's in the item frame, I'd prefer it straight. CTM probably doesn't work with the item frame, or dies it?
- The diamond or and lapislazuli ore are great. It's not impossible but a bit hard to distinguish these. Any plans to make them a bit more distinct?
I try to never do "straight" as it ends up looking very bland and boring. There is no way to have it appear one way in your hand and another in the frame, sadly.

I've never noticed this myself, or gotten this complaint. I did have some trouble when I made my lighting, though. I had a much higher contrast between night/day or dark/light, but whenever it shifted to nighttime everything flickered drastically. So I'm not sure if I could make it too much darker, but I'll look into it regardless.

I don't know what you mean by "the same pattern". Perhaps you forgot to run MCPatcher after updating your Minecraft.

Yea, thanks for the heads up. But I gave them permission to. I like their builds, and I'm hoping they will eventually just use the whole pack, instead of a remix. Really not sure why they are using some textures they are, a lot of them are , or don't match anything else.
You can't upload it because it's higher resolution. Unfortunately I do not think there is a way to use it if you have already changed your skin, since it just replaces the default skin if someone hasn't used their own yet.

This looks amazing, it's bright and well done, and the colours per texture aren't too plentiful, which I always like.
And for some reason the textures in the banner remind me of the spa from Spirited Away.
