Hello Levaunt and fellow levaunites. I have been using your texture pack, which is my favorite texture pack by the way, in my LP of Inferno Mines, and figured you guys might want to see how it looks being used in an adventure map. So here you go.
Looked through the thread and found exactly what I was hoping to find
I always like using basic wooden doors as my wood doors and Reinforced wooden doors as my Iron. A few splotchy areas on my new (old) wood doors, but overall, I'm happy.
Love the new textures Levaunt! And I'm really loving the new glass texture! Before the old one looked odd when I tried to make designs with it in castle walls and what not, and the new lattice look goes so much better now! <3
You are magic, Levaunt. You really are magic.
On a different note, I just want to say that I loved the old lamp texture. It's a shame to see it go. (Not that me complaining will make you change your mind, just me speaking what I think.)

You do realize you can easily just replace the texture file? Now that it is individual, it won't require a lot of work. That's what I plan on doing soon, replace the lamp and glass, I highly prefer the previous textures.

Oh, lol. That's a good point. xD

I really dislike the stone bricks, glass and redstone lamps, I tried replacing it with the old files, but I don't know how that can be done, because the old textures were in one big terrain.png file? Also I really hate the fact that the awesome skies are now gone (the clouds during daytime and the "outer space" look during the night) Can someone please give me a small tutorial on how to fix that?
I guess there is a level of personal taste to it, but the stone bricks and redstone lamp were fairly old textures, and in the lamps case, didn't even match the packs theme. In my opinion the stone bricks are better in every way possible, and are more reflective of my improved pixel art skills since making the old bricks.
The glass seems to be a drastic love-hate relationship, probably leaning to the hate side. So when I'm in the mood again I'll come up with a new texture, probably one that utilizes the semi-transparent glass feature of mcpatcher.
The skies are still in the pack, they require MCPatcher to work though. Make sure you have "better skies" checked when patching.

You are right on that one, but after a little while, I've come to like the new lamp texture. I do love the old one better, but I am enjoying this new texture a lot. It has what I liked in the last one, and it looks nicer overall. I also love the stonebrick, it fits better with the stylized feel of the pack. Everything else is very nice. I especially love the pillar texture, bravo on that!

^Panes don't use the ctm for some reason. Found that out when I switched the old glass back into the pack. So yeah, it seems you can have two different glasses that way
I really like what you did with the Soul Sand! Subtle, but way too cool in a passage done with it on both walls and ceiling !!!
I also liked the tweak on the Glowstone, being raw in Nether, but manufactured if placed in Overworld. And I don't bother about the change of the lamp, feeling is the same, it only matches the glowstone color now ^^
And at last, window painting is gone !
Neutral :
The new glass. As a cube, it's weird, but I assume it's more because it's new than ugly. But as a pane, edges are gone, and it looks like a garden wooden fence... I think it need more tweaking, but may be not changing it completely.
Cons :
You removed the double slab CTM I know we've discussed it, but I still don't see how it could ruin existing structures, apart from being lazy built with double slabs and classic planks randomly...
Hey Levaunt, just wanted to show you some love and tell you that this is hands down, my favorite texture pack. It would be great if it was 64x, but \/ \/ whatever! I love Derivation RPG! I had grown tired of default and began searching for a new texture pack that was interesting, colorful and realistic and I think your pack nails it. I love the random textures for basic blocks. I don't know if you are a Reddit member, but your pack made the front page on /r/minecraft last week and I was proud to have discovered it before
I love the sunsets and the rich colors you get
I also love the different shades of blue in the water, however I wish it were a little more transparent, but whatever it's still awesome.
Lastly, I have a concern. I feel like ores don't stand out as much against the smooth stone blocks and sometimes are easy to miss. If there was any way to make them a bit "shiny" I think that would really work.
Other minor criticisms
-Tilled soil (don't have screenshot) looks diagonal. Is that intentional? It looks kind of odd as it is now. I think if you made it parallel (i.e. straight up and down) it would look great.
- Cobblestone looks kind of similar to regular smooth stone. I love the way regular smooth stone looks, but at times it's a little hard to differentiate between the two.
- Netherrack looks cool, but it lacks the "organic", creepy feel that you get from default. Not a major issue, but just thought I'd mention it.
All in all, great pack and I hope this becomes a forums favorite.
Thank you so much Levaunt for the amazing texture pack. I love using your texture pack. For anyone who might still be interested in my videos here's the most recent ones if you want to watch.
Working on doing what Levaunt didn't want to do.... Making 1.5 textures + ctm + new animations work for 1.4.7! So far so good, have to improvise just a little bit because of 1.4.7's constraints but things are looking nice! Currently I'm working on getting the animations to work with the CTM. Its a little finicky due to the changes in texture formats. I'll upload it once I'm done for those who want to use it
-------------EDIT--------------
Download moved to post below!
There are only a few things missing that I couldn't get working properly or excluded:
Still has old glass texture and glass CTM.
Does not have the updated glowstone since I couldn't get the biome specific CTM to work correctly.
Does not have the soul sand CTM/animations since the properties files set up to do this is a pain in the rear with the 1.4.7 file formats
------EDIT #2------
I think I've thought of a way to get the soul sand ctm/animations to work with 1.4.7 but I won't be able to work on it/test it until sometime tomorrow. If I can get it working I will update the download link above
Hi. I love this texture pack.. the update is great! Lots of new or improoved textures...
But there were a lot of the textures from the previous version (1.4.7) that I really liked as well such as birch leaves.. and I wish I could take some of those and replace the new ones just simply because I got used to them. Not saying that the new ones are bad, I just prefer some of the old ones. Is there any way to do that?

Omg, just noticed the nether portal... SO CREEPY. It's perfect.
