You should really brighten up the lava in that lava bucket.
Give it a glowing effect because right now it looks like orange goop.

Some other item icons include: Apples, Gold nugget, Ghast tear, Alchemy stand, Magma Cream, Bone, Ender Eye, and Gold tools.
And that's just the items, the list would be longer with terrain and mobs!
Ever since a friend clued me in to your Derivation pack, I've been hooked. We've tried lots of others but we always come back to yours. We being myself, my wife and my two sons. Awesome work and greatly appreciated!

The latest pack with the latest MC 1.4.5 is having a hard time displaying on my computer, even after running the latest MCPatcher. I've tried windowed and full screen. Worked great with 1.4.2 though! I'll try some tweaks tonight or try a fresh start with a new client DL.
I think, if possible, that those drapes may just need to be 'that' much longer, as some of the items look ready to fall right off!
Otherwise, I like all the new things that you're planning on adding, and I will be here... Biting my nails until you release an update. Take your time, but remember that I'll always be waiting, watching, and waiting some more, and watching some more. *maniacal laughter starts*
Ps. The cops were on me about the monkeys and elderly men and women so I took the seniors back to the jungles of South America, and the monkeys into the retirement home. I have the strangest feeling that I may have forgotten something... Eh.

I noticed that problem, however they already extend as far as they can. I already changed their shape as much as I wanted to, so that the items fit better. It doesn't look perfect, but it's close enough for me.

Slightly off topic, but did you ever continue that other pack you started during one of the texture discussion challenges? If I recall correctly you only posted four textures for it.

This texture pack is from the "Simple Challenge", but I would like to continue it and hopefully release it when it's completely done.
My plan is for it to have two versions. One will be the simple style used for the challenge, the other will be more detailed versions of the same textures (give or take).

I still really want to do that, and have some great ideas for it. But considering it's 64x, it will take a while to make. And I will likely have to put Derivation on hold while I do that. So I'll probably work on it when I can, and after Deriv is updated for the next patch.
And Epicminer, that pack is also kind of on my todo list. But my 16x packs have never been very popular, so I'm going to focus on Deriv, and this new 64x one next.
I'd like to point out something that put me into lava this afternoon :
- Ender Pearls are Purple
- Eyes of the Ender are Orange
- Design of the Ender Portal is filled with Purple pearls...
I know I should've checked before doing it, but it was my first Stronghold so I wanted to place them according to color, but it used my pearl to teleport me into lava... But as you've previoulsy stated that you were reworking some items, including Eyes of the Ender, it's something you should keep in mind

Yes, this is precisely why I mentioned changing the eyes. When I first made them I mixed up which ones went into the portal. I plan on keeping the eyes orange, but making a new version of them that isn't just a recolor, and also matching the portal eyes to that.
I personally think it's worth it to change the frame from the current ripped birch plank texture look it currently has.
Of course I could understand why some people wouldn't like the downside with the inventory icons. I just think placed blocks are more important.
Well damn. I've already done this, and thought I would be Mr. Clever! Mine is a subtler effect on the frame though, so the item icon doesn't really look out of place.

I stopped visiting this thread shortly after you said you were going to do some work for an indie game, and completely forgot the name. I just now remembered and came back to check out how the pack was developing, and this was the best pack I'd ever seen and wow did it ever improve. Those armors are amazing!

I just searched the mob spawner page and the data values page of the wiki, neither of them say anything about mob spawners using any sort of simple metadata.
