have the updates been added yet? ive been using my own cursor which is just 5 dots, 1 in the middle and 4 around it. it looks good and isnt distracting and asymmetrical like the default derivation.
also have birch been fixed yet?
You don't need to ask if the update is out, the OP will change a lot, and I will add a post saying it's out. Also it will still be a little while before it's done. Remaking the GUI isn't a quick process, on top of me not having much time lately.
You could fix the birch with the current version though, just add the block properties that Dark Tundra posted on page 63.
Actually I'm going to redo the OP once I finish the GUI, and I was thinking of adding a "special thanks" section. I'll be sure to mention you in there for making that!
No problem! I am honored to have it included. Despite being a fan of the old GUI, the new stuff looks good too, keep it up.
Hey, I just tried the RPG version of your pack for the first time and I noticed that the random tall grass, the flowers and the small cactus are floating in game because they are placed one pixel too high in the CTM source image. Maybe some other textures are misplaced too, I didn´t check them all. And I feel like this really rare face in the smooth stone should be even more rare, but that´s just my personal opinion.
Besides that it´s an outstanding pack with a really unique art style and a very valuable use of the MCPatcher features - and I didn´t expect anything else from you!
That's odd, I actually raised them up myself because they are usually 1 pixel inside the ground, so the texture was getting cut off. I'll just draw in some more in the missing area, but not sure why it'd be that way for you and the opposite for me.
And I do agree about the stone face, I hadn't tested it in game much till recently. I also would like to add more rare textures to other things.
Alright, that makes sense. I'll fix it with the update, which hopefully will be soon.
I've thought about better glass, but I want to redesign the glass first. I kind of rushed the design of the current one.
I just noticed how odd your spruce planks look. They're as wide as logs, and they way you place them is similar to how you'd place log framing, but they have highlights at the edges that make them look flat, like planks. It looks like you couldn't decide what you were going for and made some weird thing in between. :S
Edit: Also, a random idea I've been thinking about, maybe you could make logs' textures more desaturated, but give them biome coloring that would make them more saturated in more humid biomes. (So they'd be closer to gray in deserts and tundras, but a saturated brown in jungles and swamps)

That's mostly the case. I had them as one large plank, to be used as flooring or pillars, hence the vertical placement. But it seemed like to many people didn't want to use them in that way, so I experimented with two planks. The next update will give them a better look and CTM randomness.
The idea about logs is alright. I like the idea of biome specific things, but probably not for logs. Deserts are always very bland, so any structures built should add some variety and color to the area. I wouldn't want to make things there even more gray.
Levaunt, there is a bug with the "Fence Gate", probably a bug caused by the texture changes on 1.4.2, or probably it is my own, not sure. Do you, or anyone else, get this bug too?
It's pretty much just a simple texture bug, when I open the fence gate it is unnaturally transparent.
Thats pretty odd. I just double checked mine to be sure but mine isn't doing anything like you describe.
Levaunt, GUI update coming up in a day or two, right? Right? (cries)

It's a Minecraft bug, corrected since 1.4.3 Just play normally until the 1.4.4 update is officially out and corrects it
And to Levaunt, I really like the hands in the trading window too! Good job!

Lavaunt, not to bother you, but the villager textures look all the same, can you perhaps make them look more "unique"? They just look like recolors, who knows who's the librarian, who's the blacksmith, etc.
Not a bother at all. When I first made the villagers the pack was at the end of it's old style, so they don't exactly fit with the new stuff. I also didn't make unique types, and only did recolors, because at the time only one villager could ever spawn anyway. I plan on mostly redoing them, and only keeping the bird motif.

yes and the witch

Everyone is missing it because I haven't made it yet.

It's random, that's why. If you need more info, check this : https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-38
Soon!
Cool, I'll have to add it to the OP.

One of the best RPG Texturepack's I've seen in a long time.
