I don't mean to sound like i'm whining, but custom clouds would be cool.
This has been mentioned before, and I do agree. However I have yet to find a technique of creating higher res clouds that does not cause flickering on the clouds at some degree, and matches the pack. Personally I cannot stand that, and don't want that in my pack, plus with Better Skies the sky looks better with clouds off.

well... I thought a kind of dusty light brownish type of clouds would be cool, but I guess not the only place I can recommend going for help with complicated stuff like that is here: http://www.minecraft...chers-features/
Nice looking clouds are possible without those flickering edges so the cloud layer appears flat.
and this would be compatible with both MC Patcher and Optifine (I've tried it)

Actually, that is only true in some versions of Optifine. Plus you might have messed up some settings.
Unfortunately this is why I also included the caveat of "matches the pack", as well as no flickering. I've looked at clouds from a lot of packs, and tested a lot of (at least a dozen) ways of making clouds. None of them came even close to what I would prefer for the pack.
Ideally I would want clouds like default Minecraft, except double or triple resolution. So no partially transparent blocks, not flat, and many singular clouds not a large layer of them.
The only thing I can suggest is if you don't like my decision, just add someone else's clouds to the pack for personal use.
In other news, I've decided to start working on a big update to the pack. Mostly consisting of extreme CTM changes and additions. Also some changes to some block colors to make creative building more varied and interesting.
Hi there! Love the pack, it's gorgeous! it was the exact type of pack i was looking for
Will you be updating this for use in the new 1.4 update? i really hope so, because I'd love to continue using this pack.
I see it now... The clouds you put into the day sky look better than any other clouds could, but it is a problem when using sonic ether's unbelievable shaders because when I turn clouds off my hands become traslucent.

Hey I asked this before but I was ignored badly, can you please add more customization options for this pack. It used to be my favorite as it was a cartoony RPG kinda thing but now it's more like the generic gritty and dull RPG. Still looks nice but not as good as before.
I don't like the customizer that is out there now, and I wouldn't want to mix the two styles publicly anyway. The best I can do is post a link to that old version for people to edit themselves. I know some others have wanted them as well, but I personally hate them now!
Doing a little cleanup before I start CTM stuff. Here is the new cobblestones, redone mossy bricks, pine log, control block, and item frame background.
If anyone has a suggestion for a block that could be re-made or just touched up, now is the time!
It would be great if you could add support for random textures like grass, flowers and mushrooms.
Yes, most of my CTM will be random textures. It's something I wish default Minecraft would adopt.
Here's some more stuff. The dispenser I've actually been working on for about a week! But there is also a new crate which I think I will use in place of sponge for creative building, new bedrock, reworked gold ore (others will be as well), and the ender portal frame.
Will this pack automatically update in 1.4 though?
Also, give the ice block a new texture, it looks dull and grey
Well, it won't "automatically" update. But I have nearly all the required textures finished already, so nothing will be a black texture. But I might not get to the mobs right away, so they might still be default. Except for the bat, I think I can finish that easy enough.
The ice will get changed, but probably only random ctm support so it will look smoother on most parts, with some scratches and cracks here and there.
Could you redo the netherrack? I never liked it.
And maybe the bed. It seems so flat, and not much of pixel art in it.
Hmm, I think the netherack works pretty well as is, but again, I'll probably add random ctm support to it. And beds are difficult to get to look right, but I like the way it is.
The same goes for the bed. I love that thing! Have anyone attempted bed-ctm though? Is it even possible? Would be pretty neat on MP-servers I think. When you're visiting others homes, it'd be nice if it had different bed sheets or something.
Also; as much as I love the mushrooms, could they be tweaked somewhat? The actual shrooms you chose is fantastic, they're just a bit too big on mooshrooms. That would btw be one hell of a cool ctm opportunity I'd say.
I've heard that it is impossible to CTM beds, since they aren't a single block. But if it ever becomes an option I will take advantage of it.
Mooshrooms recently got the ability to be CTM'd, so I can give them mushrooms unique to them, which I likely will do. I might even go outside the box with them, we'll see.
I actually already drastically reduced the size of my mushrooms so they wouldn't look so bad on mooshrooms. So I look forward to bringing back the normal sized ones. Oh and yeah I'll add random ctm support for those as well!
Edit: Oh yeah you mentioned the diamond block as well. I still really like it, but I wonder if people would prefer a decorative block, rather than a chunk of crystals. So I may change it.

Curse PremiumWooohooo!
I liked the default clouds too.
Back in the day when playing vanilla in like beta 1.4 without any texturepack was cool.

Curse PremiumHaha I had a nightmare about 1.4 once.
Like a real life nightmare.

Yeah I really should. That cake is still a placeholder really, I just haven't been able to get it to look right.

Curse PremiumEven if you still like the current one, it could still be implemented as CTM in the future so everyone wins!
Really impressive dispenser too, it looks great!
