I finally got around to making an unofficial menu panorama. This edited pack also includes a fix for the hunger bar background, which was slightly too big, and a symmetrical targeting reticle which I made myself. If you don't want those edits, just replace the icons.png in "gui" with the original one.
Nice, I love the desert choice, I'll have to add it in the next update. I also really like the style of the reticule, I've been meaning to change mine for a little while, I might make on inspired by that one.

There are a few places where the images for the panorama don't line up perfectly, but I hope they aren't too noticeable with all that blur.

feel free to use it as an alt or as a replacement for the log. Also thank you for donating your fire animation to Dokucraft TSC, We really needed an update to that, I'll be doing color changes and what not later for the official pack edits. Thanks again and I hope you like the log, I'll be using a similar feel for my Dokucraft one.

As for the log, I actually had it almost like that to begin with but I wasn't sure if I liked how the bark that is cut off on the edges wrapped around, if that makes sense. They need a little touch up regardless though.

No Problem I didn't like how the packs log tiled. It was kinda odd and broke in almost a double box where you had the 4 on top making a box and then the 5 on bottom making a second box. It just seemed very strange, especially in game. Test the one I posted out and see how you feel about it. May need a few touch ups but the tiling is a lot nicer and much easier on the eyes. When looking at the single texture, I know what you mean about the edge wrapping but when you have the cube profile of the sides together or the double trunk, It looks and flows a lot better.
Awesome, I already have an idea for CTMing the cobble fence, And the new crops looks like turnips. Not sure what I'll do with the new boss though.
I also REALLY hope MCPatcher or someone finds a way to let pack makers create a separate skin for each leather armor color. I've had enough of Minecrafts lazy ass, disgusting way of recoloring things.
I have news on the pack as well. I'm just about done with my side-project, but I have also started another side-side-project; However that one won't take so long, so I'm hoping to get back to Derivation in a week or so. And I plan to tackle every single thing that is still a default texture still!
Yeah, CTM will handle most of the things coming out in the patch, but as you noticed my leather armor has white cloth and the grey mask, both of which would be recolored. Which would essentially ruin the whole aesthetic the armor currently has! I'll make a post on the MCPatcher topic, but the last suggestion I made didn't even get a response.
Yeah I'm pretty disappointed with the new dying method. There's over 16 million combinations. They could have made two separate textures, one that doesn't get colored and one that does get colored, similar to side grass, and I think the new dying wolf collars work this way as well. There's also no way to change the default leather armor color.

True, but considering DinnerBone's attitude when responding to Misa's suggestion... Not gonna happen. I can't shake off the impression that both him and Jeb are out of touch with their userbase.

Wow. That explains a lot. I wish they would finally wake up and realize that just because they and some random person on the internet think such and such is a great idea does not mean it is. And frankly, I find Dinnerbone's response downright disgusting. I didn't think I would ever see a developer react that way to a user. Shame he had to spend a precious 5 minutes of his day writing that response isn't it?
That said, I am rather curious as to what the side projects were, levaunt, given the quality of this texture pack.
Those are really cool. I wonder if it will just pull the graphic from the skeleton, I think mine would work just fine as they are. Would be cool if you could stick a torch on them as well. A skull with a candle on top of it is a fantasy dungeon staple!
I've talked about and have plans to do a lot more CTM stuff, specifically random stone, grass, etc. But first I want to finish everything missing, like gold and chain armor and Ender Dragon.
Yeah I don't have a texture for it, and how often people see it is exactly why I have put it off. I'll just do what Wayukian did and put it on the OP!
Also, I'm thinking of livestreaming the first things I make when I get back into this pack. Does that interest more than one person?
