I think I see the problem. The color is a little off, and it doesn't have as many colors as other textures. I'll tweak it sometime.
Possibly, it seems to only be one mob texture and one block texture, so wouldn't be too hard.
I was working on a build and didn't really like the jungle wood planks, so I redid them. I also realized I haven't changed the grass in a long time. So I made a new one that tiles a lot better.
That is the best grass texture I have ever seen in any video game ever, like seriously.
Hmm, I might have to outsource that to the community or something. I don't use it so I wouldn't know what to change things to, and it must have a lot of textures.
Right now I am doing Better Than Wolves, and even that is taking a while.
There are ALOT of textures in Tekkit. Like 3x the amount there is in default minecraft.
After looking at a few buildings that abuse the cracked brick, i've noticed that the cracked brick doesn't tile well with any kind of stone brick. It's mainly to do with the darker stone brick.

Maybe but I doubt your any good, also remixing the ores to Doku's ones is a terrible idea. I love everything about Levaunts pack just the way it is.
Maybe I'm not as good as him, but that's not the point.
I only mixed it with doku because I couldn't see the ores when I was playing. I also love everything about this pack, it's my current favorite, but you know it can't 100% please everybody

I think I see what you mean. It could use a tweak. It works all right just one block every now and then, but anymore and it can look wierd. Think I should fix it to tile better, or just remove the missing brick. (Or I guess more correctly add the missing brick?)
I can't remember if it's been said or not, but the upper part of the pine-planks don't tile very well.
Also, did you see my post about ctm-ing mycelium? Just curious what your opinion on it is. I'd like to think it'd work very well since grass don't grow on top of it and therefore don't block the view of the upper part of the block. And since i'm mentioning ctm; What ctm-textures have you done so far/planning? Also, the new update is sweeet if I haven't said so already!
I'll have to check the pine planks, I made and use them specifically as pillars and supports in big houses, so I haven't noticed it in-game.
And I like the idea of using CTM on pretty much every ground tile to help break things up. So grass, stone, dirt, mycelium and snow could all use some of that.
Right now with CTM I have wood and nether fence, stone button, tops and bottoms of gold and stone blocks (the gargoyle one), horizontal pine planks, sugar cane for various heights, and right now I am working on a brand new TNT.
I don't have anything planned besides the ground tiles, I just sort of play with my pack and see what is needed, but I'll also take any suggestions.
I've just gone through the utter nightmare that is trying to revive an old forum account and link it up to one of these new 'Curse' accounts, just to come here and extend my thanks for this amazing texture pack! I've not had the time to read through all forty pages of the thread - so disregard my input if it's no longer needed - but I much prefer the current look to the new one as proposed on page three; it's a little too high contrast for my liking, and there are current textures that I absolutely love and wouldn't want to see changed (fully grown wheat, cane, stone and sand to name a few)!
Anyhow. My friend and I are using this pack to build this Arabic inspired seaside city.
Still a long way to go, this is only around 1/5th of what we have planned!
All my dreams of what a texture pack should be are coming true with this one!

Looking good. I'm curious what you think of the sandstone. Some people have expressed concern it doesn't look as good when used in bulk, and I think there might be some tiling issues on it.
So Levaunt, you have anything to tease us with? :3
Err, while I'm at it I'd like to express a critique regarding the saplings. They don't look really... sapling-y. Might I suggest something along the lines of what I'm doing for my pack? Please note that I "stole" the background idea from you.
Not my background idea! NOOOO!
I actually did do the saplings in a rush cause they are a fairly minor texture. I might redo them sometime.
As for previews, I was taking a short break from this pack. But I had to do something with the new MCPatcher skyboxes.
Also, I was wondering what was on your list for Mod Support. We already know you started CTM, BTW, and then possibly Simple Ores. Were there any more mods you were thinking of supporting? Just curious.
Last thing is I wanted to say thank you for the pack. It replaced Sphax as my favorite TP. Keep up the great work!

I quite like it. Personally I find most texture packs have a sandstone theme that is far too 'soft' or bright. I like yours because it feels a bit dirty and weathered; not pristine. The decorative sandstone is great, I love that texture. For the regular sandstone I'd perhaps like it with a little less contrast - not much, just a little. But overall I think it's very good, I stumbled across your pack whilst looking for one to suit that project and I've stuck with it, it's definitely my favourite thus far.

I have Elemental Arrows and SImple Ores done, and I think I could do Metallurgy since it's similar to simple ores. BTW is almost done, after that I have Extra Biomes, Equivalent Exchange, and Fossil/Archaeology on the table. I'll still take any suggestions though.

I did a pixelated sky thing a long time ago when I first started trying out pixel art, it's mostly a resized picture but you could probably do something similar for the skybox http://cl.ly/794t and http://cl.ly/76Y1
One more mod request; KK's Simple Arrows. He's actually about to release a new version of that mod to coincide with Simple Ores, which would be a perfect pair. I've added support for that mod to a few texture packs (Doku, Sphax, this one but I've kept to myself) since it's so quick and easy to do. It's basically just different arrowhead textures with 1 new bow.
How long did that take? o.o

Absolutely amazing man.

@Danori: Pleasure to see you around here! Thanks for the kind words. The moon took a whole day of work, I'd guess 4-6 hours maybe.
@xcadaverx: Thanks, fixed. Not sure how I missed that when updating the post.
No work to show a preview of today, tomorrow I am considering doing gold armor and tools.

This ticks all the boxes.
Oh right, I forgot to mention the regular CTM stuff. I already have those done!

Fancy!
I assume you are going to do something a bit more subtle for the next release, especially because a drawn pixel version would look fantastic.

I'm not sure, I think skyboxes might be an MCPatcher only thing.

I'm not sure. I tried a pixeled look first and it just looked out of place.
Alright, thanks!

(I don't know if it's worth it or not, but it does give more options for paintings)
And I know you said nothing huge, (and specifically singled it out lol) but will you eventually support the Aether when it updates?
