It looks fine to me as well. The problem some people might be seeing is that in the human face, the eyes are pretty much right in between the upper and lower halves of the head. Here they are a little higher, but then again it is a robot, not a human.
I agree with the suggestion of editing the water. I would prefer something less blue, and more transparent. Also, before you start on mods, I would like to see a custom portal animation. They aren't too difficult, but I havent seen a single pack that has one.
This is now my favorite texture pack
Just a few complaints:
- Obsidian, although it look amazing, looks bad in the game
- The ores are hard to recognize. In game, coal is hard to see and others are not that easy to notice
- The wool block, at least to me, looks bad. But that might just be because I prefer when they look more like cloth
- Jungle wood is too dark and too red
- Ender eye and pearl look too bland
- Birch log also looks weird, too smooth for a tree
Levaunt, do you plan on adding more custom colors for block types and things such as grass and stone and such? I recently borrowed all of the custom color files from Misa's realistic pack into this one and it added so much dark atmosphere. It could really add another layer of depth to the pack overall.

- I don't know what I can do to make ores easier to see. I have gotten this complaint before with other ore textures. I mean, the coal is nearly black on the light gray stone. The only way I could make it any more different is if the stone was bright white! Personally I have no problem seeing ores in any light level.
- I use wool a lot as walls for medieval looking houses and banners in castles. This texture works great for that. I might make an alternate at some point.
- I made a new jungle wood, there's a preview for it a couple pages back.
- I like the pearl, but the eye will be changed into more than just a recolor at some point.
- There are a lot of species of trees with a "smooth skin". But I could make an alt texture I suppose!
When it comes to the jungle planks; I think it might look better with a color more close to vanilla. Not that I don't like it. But the good thing about the planks normally is how I can integrate it as floor-patterns and whatnot with normal planks.
I posted a preview of new jungle planks a page or two ago. I might change the color slightly, but I like giving each of the wood their own flavor. I have also slightly edited to birch planks to look better.

I'll have to look into it but I already have very drastic color differences with biomes, and the game can now only pull one color per biome.
Levaunt, can you PLEASE change the shovel position back to original. Because the current looks weird in third person.
This isn't a simple decision. A lot of people like it one way, and some like it the other way. Impossible for me to please both! So I just keep it the way I like it. If it's a big problem you can just edit the image to have them flipped.
I've made some edits to the terrain.png to correct the things I didn't like. To make the ore more visible, I replaced it with dokucraft's ore. My tip is to make it more colorful and with varied shapes. Also, if you take a look at JohnSmith texturepack, he has shiny gold and diamond, which looks really awesome
One other thing, is the swamp supposed to look THAT purple? It's strange because the side of the block is still green
That's interesting, Doku ores are nearly the same value and saturation as mine, so there's nothing being gained with color. The shape is different, so I guess that is the real problem?
I have been playing survival with my pack to find problems and I had no issue seeing ores, so I guess if you're happy with that edited version you can use it, but I don't think I will change the public release. Well, gold ore could be brighter so I can change that at least.
As for the swamp, I'm not sure what's happening, make sure you checked custom colors with MC Patcher maybe? This is what a swamp should look like:
Kind of off topic from what everyone else is talking about at the moment, but I had a quick question about Mod Support. I was wondering if you planned on possibly doing mod support for Tekkit. I know that it is a mod compilation and it would take a while, but would it be a possibility?

Hmm, I might have to outsource that to the community or something. I don't use it so I wouldn't know what to change things to, and it must have a lot of textures.
Right now I am doing Better Than Wolves, and even that is taking a while.
Love this texture pack. It's the only one I use besides John Smith.
Only two problems. I don't like the moon and my characters skin.
Would love to see something closer to John Smith's in those two areas. Otherwise great pack and keep up the great work!
I haven't edited the character skin in any way, though I plan to in the future. And last I checked Johnsmith's moon was just a resized picture of the real moon. Whereas I spent an entire day making my moon by hand, on pixel at a time.
Maybe if I remove the beard part, and/or make the lips more noticeable.

Retired StaffIt looks just fine to me. Don't change a thing.

Looking forward for some connected textures too

I couldn't check custom colors, so that might be the problem
One other thing: tree saplings look too much like each other, specially oak, jungle and birch

Yea, here's the terrain. Keep in mind it's not finished!

I'm a pixel artist too, so I know a couple of things as well
My criticism is only to improve the texture pack
It's called an opinion, sir. The look just seems off to me.
I still love the pack though.
