Do you plan on adding paintings that look like tools or other stuff? (Like John Smith and Summerfield (probably others too) have)

I know what you mean, and yes. The paintings I added are pixelated versions of other artwork, but I would like it to all be my own work at some point. I was just annoyed at how out of place default paintings looked, so I did these temporarily.
You've done custom biome colours along with the skies too, but I suggest checking things like the water particles if you haven't done so because they'll probably be the garish, primary blue colour of default.

Right, I have not forgotten about the Iron Golem, I have a great idea for it. Also need to do ender dragon *shudder*. And I'm still looking into all the things I can change with the MC Patcher's custom color mod, so water and other things will be changed.
For the next update I'm going to see what I can do with connected textures, and I might give animated textures a shot as well. Once that's done I'm hoping to get some mod support in.
Well that stuff didn't take half as long as I thought it would. I have animated diamond and gold ore, torches, and furnace, As well as the basic CTM stuff done.
So I am now taking suggestions on mods to add support for. Let me know what you think the most popular mods I should work on, or ones you personally would like to see. Preferably nothing to huge like The Aether, for now.
I'd like to see Simple Ores support. It's one of the few mods I use and I've adapted the texture packs I use for it, including this one. But I think you could probably do a better job than I did. Maybe Atmosmobs, too, if you're willing to skin some little mobs.
Simple ores is very likely, as I could just do some recolors or slight edits of existing textures. Atmosmobs looks very cool too, might take longer though if I do it.
In CTM news I found out you can change the fence and gate graphics, which I am pretty happy about.
Is there anywhere I can get some of the old files though? The new smoothstone is really not my cup of tea, and I would like to have the very old one kind of stone seen in this movie

Wow, this is absolutely amazing. I remember using this during beta, and I remember what the textures were then... But this is a 100% improvement from that! I absolutely love the armor, the weapons, and the tools... All your blocks have a clear, matching theme, and it's colored in a wonderful way. My only qualm is that the dirt is a little bit too saturated for my tastes, but I can ignore it for all the rest the pack does good! It's certainly competing for a spot in my heart over John Smith!

Wow, never seen that video before. Unfortunately that stone was a placeholder, it's not my work. So I can't add that one.
I had big plans for a customizer a little while back, but I couldn't manage to create my own, and I really don't like the setup of the customizer that's out there. I may make some alts and just stick them in a PSD for people to change though.
I'd be more glad for more randomobs & ctm's before various mods, but that's me. Also curious; you mentioned you had ideas for the golems. May we get a hint of what it'll look like, or maybe even a preview if you've already started it?
I am getting pretty crazy with this CTM stuff, so there will be more of that.
The Iron golem will mainly be the same dark color of the iron block, and I'm going to have blue energy glowing between the joints. Maybe hard to explain, and I haven't started work on it yet, but I will soonish.

Thanks. I forgot how gross this pack was in beta, that video Simonp linked was a refresher you could say. I did try to desaturate the dirt some, but it clashed with the grass too much. I could lower it a small bit though.
There's an MC Patcher feature so you can have different textures on the top of a block compared to the sides.

Square brick is a good idea as well, will do that one. Lapis I'm not sure, I'll try something maybe.
Water I think I see what you mean, I kind of like simple water, in oceans a visible pattern can look really bad. But I think I could brighten it a little, and maybe flowing water speed, that would take a lot of annoying editing of the image. Also yes I forgot to do the underwater color png, I'll add that next update.
I might redo that gold top to be more than an edit of the iron. Not sure it matches as well as I thought it might.
I was wondering if you could do something to make the sugar canes look more in place with the texture pack, they look a bit off in my opinion, doesn't suit the pack that well.
I think I see the problem. The color is a little off, and it doesn't have as many colors as other textures. I'll tweak it sometime.
For mod support, could you do the Weeping Angels mod? Love it so much!
Possibly, it seems to only be one mob texture and one block texture, so wouldn't be too hard.
I was working on a build and didn't really like the jungle wood planks, so I redid them. I also realized I haven't changed the grass in a long time. So I made a new one that tiles a lot better.
Also if you don't mind I re-uploaded Derviation on PMC and I would like to get it some more attention. So I'd be grateful if you gave it a diamond and/or commented. Thanks!

I've noticed the crit/arrow trail particle looks like smoke, which is a bit strange to be honest. Any plan on changing that?
