Unbelievable. I especially love the teeth of the creeper and the ribs of the skeleton.
I also like your color choices for both mobs. The zombie's purple tint will fit better now with an off white
and olive colored skeleton and creeper, respectively. The purple of the creepers' eye looks like it matches the
color of the zombie.
I believe that it's your genius with coloring in addition to your raw pixel art look that provides
such a beautiful product.
Been working on the biome colors and lightmap stuff some more. Also I tried to make a 512x512 clouds.png but not matter what I did in-game it glitched out. In between each "pixel" of the clouds the sky was showing though and it flickered a lot. I tried looking at other peoples clouds to see how theirs worked, but even resizing those to 512 ruined them! So if anyone has any experience with the clouds I'd appreciate some tips.
Not a fan of those eyes. They don't blend into the face as well as the other mobs' do. The file is it's own entity
right? Than maybe it supports transparency if it overlays the spider? I also think they're a bit too red. Maybe lighten the outline and make the inside of the eye almost an off white or yellow-green? The rest of the mob looks great, but the focal point remains the uncanny eyes.
Also show off some in-game pics of the biome coloring if you could!
I don't use the MC Patcher. Using Magic Launcher with Optifine. And I just replaced the new foliagecolor.png with the one from 4.0 to get it working again. I suppose it has something to do with the new snapshots. Thanks though.
That's odd, I think I did change it slightly, but not sure why it wouldn't work. Let me know if that problem persists when I release the next update.

I think the eyes looked off because I took that picture in a cave, where the eyes are very bright, and then I brightened the rest of the spider in Photoshop. I darkened them slightly anyway.
I finished Ghasts, Slimes, Zombie and regular Pigmen, Squid, and Mooshrooms. As well as about 5 alternates for most mobs. I'll try to get some screens of them sometimes.
This is the first time I've ever seen a mushroom biome with my pack. I don't think I can give a biased opinion on it, because I hate them either way! Maybe you could let me know what to change, I think maybe the grass should be darker and more purple.
I made a forum account just so I could give feedback for this.
So far, this is the only texture pack that I haven't started to get bored with or dislike after using it for a few days. Everything looks incredible so far, and I'm looking forward to future updates with random mobs and even more new content.
The only thing I'd change is the gold equipment; however, I'm assuming that considering it's just recolored iron equipment, it's being used as a placeholder. I don't know if you have any plans already, or if you've already made something else, but something along the lines of the skeleton's samurai armor would be cool, along with a golden katana. Alternatively, you could have a gold and blue Egyptian death mask for the helmet, with gold skeletal-themed body armor and a golden khopesh for the sword.
And lastly, I'd like to suggest having your own version of the glint.png used for enchanted items. I've not seen a single texture pack that changes it. I usually just throw a rainbow gradient into the misc/ folder of any pack I use, but I'm sure you could come up with something more fitting to this pack's style.

Yes, the gold equipment (armor and tools) are placeholder, as well as chain armor. I haven't even thought about them yet, but I like your Egyptian suggestion, gold and blue go well together I think.
The glint is odd, I've tested changing it and barely noticed anything, I might give it another try sometime, but it's not high on my list.
News on the next update, I am going to wait to see if 1.3 comes out soon. If it doesn't by Saturday I'll release it. I have also decided to add some paintings. Unfortunately they won't be my own artwork at the moment, they are pixelated versions of various paintings, with full credit to the illustrators given.
Oh, man. This pack has changed a lot. I was skeptical at first, but I absolutely love it. Hoping for a brighter marble-ish version like you mentioned earlier in the thread.
Oh hey, I posted this on another account or something.

Here's what I have for new mobs so far. I have a lot of ideas for Random Mobs for these.

For now though, here is a shot of some biomes:

That's not a bad idea.

Ah thanks, I'm not up on Mojang news. So in that case I'll release it tomorrow!
Oh yeah and here's a new moon.
