I have to say it's beautifully executed, but it has some major repetition issues. Major. So I'd recommend you try to fix that.
I'd have to respectfully disagree about this. Not about the fact that there is repetition/patterning within the textures (which is obvious), but the idea that it needs to be eliminated. Some packs are meant to be smooth and virtually seamless, such as yours, and other packs are meant to have some obvious tiling, such as this one. I find it charming, and I think it would look quite strange if this pack were perfectly patternless.
I have noticed tiling issues recently that I somehow missed. The worst of it is the brick, So those will be fixed with the update. As for repetition, I see what you guys mean and I do think it works on a few blocks but not all of them. I'd like to have blocks that are used in large amounts to be repetition free, such as sandstone, stone brick, cobblestone, and wood; A few of those could use some touching up I think.
Excited about the coming update. Any notable changes to terrain blocks?
Yes actually. I made a new snow and smooth sandstone, and fixed some tiling issues with brick, sandstone, cobblestone, and emerald block. Also working on biome coloring and lightmap stuff, and I think I'll make an ender chest and new ender portal.
Oh and in non-terrain stuff I finished making leather armor, made a new snowfall
Fantastic work all around. The new mobs are great and the items are a drastic improvement! You did forget the angry and tamed wolves though...
And nice color updates to the terrain and texture changes to the cobble and gravel. I noticed the cobble's tiling error, but didn't bring it up earlier, so way to fix it!
EDIT: And new snow... Didn't notice it when I scanned through the terrain file, but in game it caught my eye
Looking forward to new wolves. Thanks for your hard work, the pack's looking stunning!
Ah, I forgot to add new gravel to the changes list. Also I didn't intend to add the wolf to this update, just forgot it was in the folder, so just going to have to deal with the ugly ones for now. Tomorrow I'll try and finish them up so you guys can at least manually throw them in the folder.
Will you be making an alternate breaking animation? The whole pack is fantastic.. minus the breaking animation. I would substitute my own but your style is so unique that it woulddn't look right.
Things you should improve-
- New zombie pigman texture, maybe something like the Ghast texture.
- Shrink the mushrooms, huge normal mushrooms have never looked right to me. That's why I've always loved the mushrooms in Isabella.
I am making new textures for all mobs in the next update. Mushrooms however, I don't like small ones because they use the same texture for the item in your inventory as well, and smaller mushrooms tend to look very different from other items and also get covered up by the value number.

Yes, the breaking animation is still from the old style of the pack, I'll make a new one soon.
Yes! I thought it made sense since you use them to trade for stuff with villagers.
Oh and as for the connected textures talk, I do plan on adding a lot of CTM support. I really like that mod, I just want to get everything up to date with the new style first.
This is my favorite texture pack, and I can't wait to install the update and see how well it works now. I haven't really used it in a while. I'm excited to see all the newness!!

Thanks, I'm terrible at making unique good looking armor for whatever reason.

I was trying to keep some stylized feel with some items. Best I can do is make an alternate with a point.
