i hope u feel like finishin it someday.... this out of all txt packs is my fav its so beautiful to look at.. i kinda stop playin MC becuase i didnt want to play with out your updated txt pack
My initiative has been lacking recently, so no word on when the next update will be posted. I wanted to make a massive customizer akin to painterly, but my limited knowledge of web development is hindering that endeavor. I do however have a preview of some of what I've been working on.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Are extended connected textures a possibility? It allows for natural random-ish texturing of blocks, (I guess, I'm not exactly sure how it works, you could look on the Optifine thread for more info) and it looks amazing. This texture pack has a lot of potential, I'm probably going to use this as a main texture pack if it gets some support for extras like that.
Keep those previews comin'! I love how many alternates you have lined up here.
All of these are great, though the birch log (I assume) is particularly striking.
EDIT: Also, sandstone, glowstone, and redstone wire alts would be nice, if you have the time...

I really like the idea, and will look into it once the pack has been fully updated.
Gorgeous! The only thing I don't completely adore is the bricks. They feel too regular, and perhaps just a bit....fuzzy.
Yeah I'm not sold on them either, it's an update to the stone slabs, I think I want the bottom half to be more ornate. Already working on another pass on them.

The redstone wire really needs an upgrade I agree, I have already done glowstone, it's in one of the previews somewhere.
Everything looks beautiful as ever! Now just make a pack themed around this block:
That was going to be a "flavor" of my pack, with light marble colors and a heaven theme. Might still happen but it's on the backburner.
Here's a couple more textures, got a good bit of stuff done today. I also think I have nailed down the color palette, going with a darker less saturated look, with a few strong colors as highlights. Mostly inspired by the awesome art of Diablo 3. I'll post some screens of it in-game when it's closer to being finished, to get opinions, but be warned it looks almost nothing like the pack now (intentionally).
From left to right: Gold Block, Emerald Block, Stone Slab, Sandstone, Trapdoor, Music Box, Decorative Stone block.
I could give it a brownish hue. I believe that's what color bones turn when aged anyway.

Holy f***. I just jizzed my pants. <3
I particularly love the gold and emerald blocks, but the sandstone is also very lovely. Can't wait to see more stuff from you! You never disappoint.
EDIT: Although I personally would flip around the stone slab so that the decorative scrollwork is along the upper edge. It makes a good wall-topper that way.
Hoho, I know what game that is. I look forward to seeing your art applied to it.
Diamonds for you.
Holy...

Curse PremiumA full update is still a little ways off, depending on my procrastination levels.
