Also, to not disappoint all of us patiently (or impatiently) waiting for an update, what's your
overhaul terrain update look like so far? Would you consider showing off the current terrain?

I'll try to post some stuff when I can. As for the terrain, here is what it looks like so far. Keep in mind many things aren't what they will be, and I'm still tweaking colors. But if people want they can use this to test it out and let me know what you like/dislike.

Looks good. Its a little more sedate than the last time around.
I'd love to know what game you're working on.

This is really amazing...
I don't know what will change but all textures are very good IMO.

Congrats. I just wanted to let you know this is my favorite texture pack. Respect to all other creators, and I keep trying others, but they don't quite live up, IMO.

List of things that I'd like to update before releasing a new version:

Wool, Glass, Giant mushroom stuff, Alchemy stand, Bed, Sand, Bedrock, Music Box, Saplings, Birch Wood, Redstone repeater, Trapdoor, Web, Flowers, Cake, Plants and Wheat, Redstone wire, Goldblock, and Ice.

That's just the terrain, I'd like to change many items as well, but those can wait till another update.

I thought about it, and I think I prefer some of the older textures, particularly the ores and ore blocks.
All of these are fantastic, but they just don't have the same stylized charm of the old ones.

I've got to admit, I just recently stumbled upon this texture pack and all I have to say is...I am amazed, I may have missed it but by seeing the terrain PNG and the screenshots I am already in ABSOLUTE love with this texture pack, I don't believe this is dead. And I cannot wait for the update. Good luck with the art for the other indie game BTW.

I did read. Do you think I just magically put those words up their by coincidence? Didn't know what they meant? He said he's working on a new game but he will "try" to work on it again sometime. He's promised updates prior to then that have never happened. Trust me, this texture pack is dead. Why would he make us textures for free when someone else is paying him to make them?

I wasn't being payed to work on that game, And I've already finished work on it. The reason there are no updates is because I have been changing nearly every texture, and that takes a while! I also have not been interested in Minecraft for a while, but I do still like making textures so I will keep working on this pack when i have the time and initiative.

I think you should get a percentage of the profits for the game. Delver has been noticed by notch, so its probably going to be big. Terraria is an example ;p
