Either way, I would love for this pack to be updated.

I'll try to get an update out. I just always want to improve the pack but end up with some good new textures and a lot of old bad ones and I don't want to release an update until everything is perfect. That likely won't happen though so I'll have to settle.

That way everyone could always pick the textures they like more, and you could add some misc textures that wouldn't normally fit in.

Pre-release every once in a while on your way to the full release? This is my all-time favorite pack and it sucks not being able to use it on the more updated servers.

I'll likely have an update in a few days. I'm trying to at least update the oldest textures still in the pack, namely pumpkins/watermelon, furnace, workbench, musicbox, cactus, and stone/ores. I'll also be streamlining the color palette to something more realistic. Items will also be receiving a black outline, but if people don't like that I can easily revert it.

the default wood is very red, i think you should change it to the jungle wood.

I may reconsider, I haven't actually tested them in-game yet, but I think they look better on the sheet. We shall see.

Yes, there will be a different color AND style of wood for all the wood types.

I laughed. And yeah, I would love to see the woods have different texture as well as color. Not so sure if I want to see the same with planks, but I can be proven wrong

Love the pumpkin, btw. I'm more loving the fact that you're not only working on it, but providing us with what you're working on. If you were livestreaming while you worked I would watch you 24/7

And on the subject of the red wood, that was just how I knew I was playing Derivation. I'm not sure how I'll feel without seeing the red tint...Then again, I'm usually using jungle trees anyways.

I'll keep up with posting previews, I'm in the swing of things now and textures are coming easily. I haven't thought of doing a livestream, I'll look into it tomorrow. For now though, here is the wood, the bottom right one is default wood and the jungle wood is the color of the old default wood.



Also the customizer will have all these wood types in each of the colors.

If you're doing the livestream thing, the place I found that works best is join.me (www.join.me). I tried it, and was streaming before I knew it (literally, before I knew it). And I don't like using customizers. I like using what you think is the 'default' for the pack, and that's what I'll probably end up using this time, too.
