I just logged onto Minecraft, and i had already updated to MC 1.6.4, but I was asked to update again, so I did. I then opened my Minecraft world, and when I had tried to open a Large Chest, the game changed to the save and quit screen that shows the 'saving chunks' message. After that, the game blackscreened. I didn't know what to do, so I closed the launcher. I tried to open Minecraft again, thinking that it may have just been a coincidence. When I tried to open the large chest again, the game did the same thing. I can't access my chests in Minecraft! Please help, Notch!!!

Notch changes obfuscation of code everytime so most mods break when the update happens.I dont have any mods and no bugs so far...well there are some but they are known.

solution:
try it woithout mods/texture packs, odds are they are outdated
if problem pursists, make a backup of your saves and reinstall minecraft.
I dont have any problems with the new update, but the only thing I can think of is that there is anoying to wait for all the mods tu update. and some mods that is compatible whit MC 1.6.5 dosen't work.
May I just downgrade my minecraft to it's all fixed, Notch just remove the 1.6.5 and work on it for some days and then give it back. then you dont have to hear all this complaint messages from everyone.
(my english is so great! GO NORWAY!) did anyone see manchester score, right now. vs BAR well now it's 1-1...
