Updated to 1.9.5, I lost all my files two days ago so I'm missing some progress I had made on items and mobs this month.

Sigh, reuploaded the pack, had the old pack.txt showing on the pack select screen, should be fixed to say Oct 31 and v1.095.
Really stupid thing to have to reupload for, haha.
i love it! you should do a warm-toned and a regular with the same textures... THATD B AWESOME! bookmarking just in case you decide to!
I was thinking of doing something like this when I finish the items/mobs/everything else, however the colors are generated by the game now, so Im not sure how much I can really make anything look warm or neutral. But I'll be trying, for sure.
sweet! to make it easier (i hope) on most painting/image editing softwares there are color changing sliders if you feel really lazy you can just drag the slider to "warm"... im not sure if that will make it look warm if it is already cold-toned though... worth a shot i guess once all items are done i will download!
EDIT: i downloaded and did that... some things did look warmer (i.e. wood, sand, and stone) but things were unbalanced and still really blue. grass and leaves were still really blue, and beds and furnaces looked out of place. but, it is a small placeholder (o yea i didnt fix flames so torches looked reeeaaallllyy weird). just start with that it should make your life so much easier!
Oh yes, I know how to do it, I'm actually a graphic designer as a career, but to keep it balanced I'd have to edit all of the tiles individually, so it's not like I can just slap some reds and yellows on there and call it a day.
Since the rumor is that the release is happening on 11-11-11, I'll be hopefully ready to go when it launches... however since Skyrim is coming out that day, I might need to balance time between the two projects. I'll update accordingly.
This has probably been one of my favorite texture packs ever and I'm typically extremely picky. This + John Smiths texture pack weapons and tools are perfect imo.
This pack is great looking, I havent even tried it out but I can see it becoming a favorite as it develops.
The thing is I really like the packs that have it all, mob skins, all items, misc textures, font, etc. I can see that its just essentials so far but it is looking amazing!
Yes, I've got a lot of things I'm very busy with recently so its slow moving, but I've already made a good deal of progress so far. I'd say within a week I'll have the items and armor released, though the terrain itself is already finished and works with 1.0.
Yes, the grey wool is red by design for the server I made this pack for, however it's easy enough to replace and I'll offer alternates in the future.
As far as the font, I'm not comfortable adding in things that I didn't develop for the pack, so no. However you can use your own fonts if you want, as long as it's just not redistributed with the pack.
