Hey I was just wondering if its ok that I put a link to here for my town's recommended texture packs. Also, I turned the title pic for your texture pack into a banner that links back to here if thats ok.

This texturepack looks awesome. Adriorn got me with a simple yet detailed texturepack, Doku got me with RPG, and you got me with Fantasy. Im'a give you out of five.
I updated for 1.9- it looks like crap unfortunately now that Minecraft determines colors via code and not via texture. I compensated for it, but everything looks either dead or green instead of the coldtoned blue it was before.
However, there are a bunch of new textures, such as lilypads, bricks, mushroom biome grass, vines, random tentacles (!?), noteblocks and the jukebox. It's worth giving a shot, and the 1.9 update is backwards compatible for 1.8 as well. Just not the other way around- if you load the 1.8 texture pack into 1.9 you'll get black grass, bright blue swamp and invisible blocks. Beware!
I provided two separate download links so you can choose the pack of your choice to install to the version of Minecraft you decide to use.
Working on em, about halfway done.

Yep, that's completely alright with me.
I really hope you continue to work on the other aspects of this pack.
Just picked up the pre-release of 1.9, going to update as quick as possible.
I don't think I'll be doing 128x until I get a new computer that can reliably run the high of a resolution without trouble.
Unfortunately you can't make semi-transparent weapons or items like ice would need, but I'm trying something similar.
