After trying out a bunch of HD texture packs, I've found that the John Smith and Misa packs are my favorite. I've tried out the photo realism, but it is definitely not worth the performance hit. Which HD packs do you guys enjoy? I'm looking to try out some new ones :laugh.gif:

p.s. I've already spent quite a bit of time browsing the texture pack forums, but I'd like to hear directly from people as to what their personal favorites are.

Glimmar's is alright, Im a fan of Jolicraft, tho it's not HD

I'd have to say that the only pack bigger than 16x16 that I like is Dokucraft, because the artwork is so well done and captures the fantasy mood perfectly. I plan on using it when its finished, but I think I'll stick to Jolicraft most of the time.

I never hear of bordercraft in these threads which is by far the most amazing pack ever made, EVER

My favorite is Misa's, I like everything about it. I'd like to see if Misa could do some brick-like cobble, though.

My favorite is Minecraft For Kids.

I think the best is, and always has been: Animal Crafting

The maker disappeared for awhile after the biome update, but this thread made me look again. Lo! and behold, its being updated again. Anyway, it fits Minecraft quite well with its bright, yet sharp, cartoony style. And I didn't even like Animal Crossing.
