Well, to be honest, my only goal with this was to make the most detailed texture pack out there using pictures of real things. My inspiration was LB's Photo Realism (Which can be found here), who I also borrowed the armor skins from (changed in V0.2b), so thanks for that. As a fair warning this texture pack is not for low end PC's by any means as it is the largest pack I know of at 66+MB. I don't like to talk about a texture pack much though, as a screenshot or two will say much more:

Installation:
Same as any other one out there. It's a texture pack. It's not exactly hard to work with...
Older Versions: I will be keeping my old versions available for download.
V0.4b [x128][x256]
V0.3.1b [x256]
V0.3b [x256]
V0.2b [x256]
V0.1b [x256]
Notes:
I do eventually plan on making several lower resolution versions of this, though it defeats the purpose IMO. But feel free to request specific sizes if you like as I will base the priorities on that. If requested, I'll even go down to x16.
Also, I haven't tested them, but the textures for wildgrass are in there. So if anyone wants to take a screenshot of how it looks with wildgrass and post it here, I would appreciate it.
Finally, I like how the default mobs look so I did not change that at all, it uses the default mob skins. If the request are high enough, I will change them as well.
To avoid confusion, alternate resolution versions have the same version number as the original version with the resolution as a prefix.
If you notice anything off, let me know.

I really like the triangular shapes on the cobblestone. The water is amazing.
I don't know what's up with the dirt and grass, it sucks up light like crazy. You can't see where you are going at night on them.
Not too crazy about the cot for a bed, doesn't fit the theme of the pack really...
Can't wait for a 128x version, although this 256x is one of the least laggy I've tried and the dot crawl and moire effect are almost non-existent, so that's a plus.
Yeah, the cot for the bed was a last resort TBH. I simply couldn't find a good image of a bed to convert into block format. But I needed SOMETHING. Then I saw a cot. lol. That WILL be changed in the future.
As for the dirt and grass, I thought it looked odd with it being much brighter, but I can lighten in up a bit.
For some reason the water does not move when I apply your texture, but when I apply anyone else's, it does. Could you shed any light on this please? I applied LB Photo Realism in both the 128 & 256 version as a check and they both respond to moving water. When I apply your texture and stare at the same body of water, no movement. I like your texture pack, especially the water, and this is why I'm persistent to get it to work. Thanks.
Hm. Now that you mention it, that does seem to be a problem on my end too. I'll look into it. This is after all my first pack I have released so I expected bugs.
Egh. Water animation is pissing me off for this particular bit. May be a while Before I get it working the way I want it to. Just a note for those looking forward to it.
It will be tricky due to the level of scaling down that requires (As some of the finer details will simply be impossible to represent), but I will make an attempt to do so after I get the x128 version up first, as it is a pre-establish resolution for this pack.
I do have some criticism.
1. The shape of the axe is weird.
2. I can't tell which tool is which in my items
3. Mobs are no different. It feels weird playing x256 Minecraft with a 8-Bit pig right next to me that ruins the whole experience.

As for the axe, I disagree as most of this pack is literally pictures of real things save for the things that simply don't have a real counterpart. The items I felt were quite clear cut. But as for the mobs, I may actually change those if requests are high enough. I just like the look of the default mobs.

Edited Armor Skins and made the grass a bit brighter.
Also made the bed a bed. :tongue.gif:
Minor update:
Forgot the map item texture in 0.3 Fixed that
x128 Will be released on a later date. I simply don't feel like resizing it right now.
