The nice thing is, most of my work is all a derivative of the originals or completely original,
IMO, as long as no one is trying to offer DL links that would other wise produce the person with revenue, I don't see a problem with them swapping images with or without permission. My thinking behind this is, let them have fun, it's the whole purpose of the game!
Honestly, I'd really prefer to not get into a debate about this. But if those that are going to be over critical about people making mixed packs, they should evaluate everything they do in their life that would coincide with the principle they are trying to uphold. Meaning, if you torrent and/or download books, movies, games or music that you've never owned? If you do, STFU and GTFO. "Stealing" is stealing in this case, and it would be hypocritical to say otherwise. (BTW, the way this is worded is not meant to be directed towards you, it's all meant to be in a general sense).
I think that the buttons need to be a little lighter because the blend too much with the background. Other than that, looks great!

If you are, I played around with those a lot yesterday. LOL. They were light at first, and at the time it look kind of funny. I'll try and mess around with the levels again, it could also be the fact of the lighting in my room at the time i made it. Maybe I should just off a DL link for the pack now and you could pull it up and really see it to see if it's too dark or what not.

It's fine if people swap packs around themselves, but it's disrespectful to the original authors to redistribute their work without permission. The reason it's different from any large company (although no more illegal) is because these creators have given up their own free time, often for little or no profit, to supply you with excellent textures. The least you can do in repayment is to respect their rights over their work.
Having said that, I don't have a problem with this pack, since you've asked permission.
Just slapped this pack into my minecraft and started up. Let me say, I'm quite well satisfied. You get a bit of the memory chokeup to be expected from highrez, at least at the beginning, but the overall feel to this map pack seems spot on. A lot of highrez tend to overdo it so it doesn't quite feel natural, especially at long range. There are still a few cases of that, stone in particular, but for the most part it's very smooth, the added touch of making grass go down the side of dirt hills to a grass block below is a nice touch, gives a sense of continuity to hilly fields. Only thing I can mention is you need a porkchop graphic. Aside from that I haven't noticed much yet. Well done, all in all.
Maybe there are too many requests for it right now...? You might have already tried this, but maybe wait a minute or two (real minutes!! :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: ) and try again.

I'm working on the shrub/dead shrub right now. Not sure if i like that it looks similar to the new tall grass that I did. I also need to finish the rest of the armor, as I've only done Iron armor so far.
So I just finished all the armor (Minus chainmail since it's only a hackable item so far). I changed the Tallgrass and the dead/living shrugs to not get mixed up in the wildgrass growth, if it's used, and it also fits it better as well.
Hope you all enjoy the armor, it took the longest but I think it looks great! I'd post screenshots, but I don't know how to take a screenshot where I can have steve face the "camera". I don't play on any servers just yet either, so if you do and have a friend that can help you take a few of the different kinds of armor, it would be much appreciated!

I've found a better tool that is cross platform that helped me create even better font files than the above.
I haven't actually downloaded the pack but the bed looks amazing! Just the kind of style I like, blue with flowery curls! Other than that from the pictures it looks good, but I don't like downloading HD texture packs, I hat installing stuff. The bed is awesome though, just to repeat myself.

Thanks. It's mostly a deviation from the bed in the Minecraft for Kids texture pack. I've changed the color of the wood to match the wood color in my theme and added a matching pillow.
Okay, So i rushed the fonts a bit (sorry) and thought I had a process down and got a little too giddy and just uploaded them.
So I've been working to improve them for the last day and I've found an easier way to go about doing the whole process. Look for an update in the next day or so.
If you liked any of the fonts, and likes to see them in the update, let me know because I may not be including all of the same fonts.
The fonts that I decided to keep have been fixed. I've also reduced the amount of fonts to 3. I feel that these 3 are different enough from each other but still fit the overall style and feel of the texture.
Let me know what ya'll think of the font(s). I'll also try and get around to writing a "how to" on how i made them so you could just include your own font if you so desired.
Been playing around with the chicken texture, because I wanted to create a spy chicken kind of look. Although I don't think this is quite it, it might be a keeper anyways. Feedback is appreciated! :biggrin.gif:
I love the crooked eyes, kind of was my first thought behind a "spy chicken".
K, got all the colors blended for the chickens and gave them tail feather.

Also fixed up my grass and foliage gradients.
This should all be part of my next update. I'm working on a new stone to better match the cobble and make the 3 fonts a bit larger.
Probably wont have another update for a week or so though, so just check back periodically.

I just tried it right now, and it popped right up this time. Probably some lag on mediafire's side, and unfortunately that is out of my control. :/
