Here's a quick look at the texture pack I've been working on. (it's not done yet.) I'd love some feedback/suggestions.
Here are some pics. :smile.gif:
Oh, I'm using that grass mod from the HD patcher, in case of any confusion.
EPIC MAN! check out mine and compare, youve got talent! can i see some lava and a download link?
I haven't actually edited lava yet - I'm still shaky on how to animate it. So it just looks like regular lava for now.
As for the download link.. All that really has much work done is the terrain.png. I'll set up a pack once other things are edited like mobs and such, but for now, all you really need to do to set up the texture pack is the following:
run %appdata%
go to .minecraft
click on bin
right click on minecraft.jar, and open with Winrar
drag the terrain.png into Winrar.
Then run Minecraft, and it should work fine. :smile.gif:
If you want to reset to the original minecraft textures, just delete 'version' from the same folder and Minecraft will auto-update when you start it up. :3 (don't delete anything else - especially NOT the saves folder xD)

Good point, I probably should tweak the torch a bit. Thanks :biggrin.gif:

That's beautiful.

Any ideas for what I should do with the cobble? Right now it's an edited version of the original texture. (It's not much different.)
